"Gianni" she tapped me "Gianni" she said hitting me a little harder "Gianni you need to get up" at this point she was knocking me upside my head

"I'm up" I groaned "Christmas break is literally right Around the corner I need you to stay awake in my lectures" I stated sternly and I packed my bag
"My bad Miss T, Gianna's sick and kept me up last night" I said sighing "How is she doing" she said with a worried face "She's At her moms right now but she'll get threw it , just a bug she caught from daycare"
"Well go get some sleep and be prepared to listen next class." She looked at me sternly "Yes mam" I got up and made my way to me car. I looked down at My phone to see Dej calling
"Hello" I said brushing my hair
"Hey you out of class"
"Yeah I'm walking to the car now "
"Okay cool I have her bags ready"
"How is she" I asked concerned
"Better, she's asking for you" I smiled thinking about my baby girl
"Alright we'll I'm on my way. You have some time to talk when I get there" I said hopeful
"Always for you"
I rolled my eyes. "Alright see you" I said hanging up

I made it to her crib in maybe 20 minutes with light traffic. Knocking on the door it opened a few seconds later with my baby girl laying on her chest
"DADDY!!" She screamed I grabbed her squeezing her tight "My favorite girl on the planet" She giggled " I not breath daddy!"
I kissed her cheek putting her down "go get your stuff so we can go" She ran off and I walked to the kitchen looking for Dej
"Wassup" I said "Hey what did you wanna talk about?"I sighed "I wanna introduce Gianna to my girl"
Me and Ezra made it official almost a month ago but have been seeing each other for maybe 4 months now so it was about that time. And out of respect for Dej I'm coming to her first
She chuckled "Your girl? When did this happen" I shrugged "Maybe 4 months ago" I said peeling a banana open
She rolled her eyes "so this is why you have Been turning me down. Your with someone else" she looked down
I didn't have time for her dramatics
"Dej I'm asking you out of respect for you. I've known Ezra for a long time and we're trying this thing out. She knows all about Gianna and she wants to meet her"
She threw a glass near my head "What about me Gianni!! What about all those promises you made me and our family!!"
"ARE YOU CRAZY DEJA! MY CHILD IN THE OTHER ROOM!" My voice boomed through the kitchen "Any thought off us being a family went out the window when you started fucking that nigga in my house! You will never be my wife! "
She stared at me broken as I tried to calm myself down. I tried to be respectful asking her first but I don't care now.
"You can pick her up from my mothers, and she will be around Ezra so you best move on" I went to the living room picking up my baby girl and her things.
