I was trying to control my temper as i swerved through traffic to get to the hospital
Ezras mom called me crying saying that she was attacked and in the hospital. I was worried about what was going on
She just left my house this morning
Her mom was so hysterical I just told her I was on my way
It was 11pm and I took Gianna to my moms just in case
Pulling into the parking lot I read the text from Ezras dad saying what floor they were waiting on
I seen her parents, aunts and cousins all waiting
I shook her dads hand
"What happened?"
"Son- "he started shaking his head
"Please tell me" I begged
"Well she was attacked at home and the police found her in the shower just beaten up"
He broke down
"They raped her mijo, my baby ""
I felt like my heart stopped. I didn't understand
Just as we took a seat a doctor called her name
"How is she?" Her dad asked
"Ezra is okay. She suffered from a extremely harsh concussion from repeated blows to the head as well as a neck fracture however that should heal in about a month"
It seemed like everyone released the breath that they were holding. I felt like me and Ezra were just getting started, I couldn't lose her. I made it my mission ole boy would be handled though
"We did administer a rape kit in her finding plenty semin however no skin under the nails. It is therefore possible she was tied up"
I cringed look king away trying to hold my tears in .
"Can we see her" I asked
"Yes but she cannot speak , she can open her eyes and hear you though. Follow me"
We all followed him down the hall and he stopped
"Usually I would have to follow protocol with 2 people at a time but go ahead"
He moved over allowing us to walk in
We walked in slowly and she looked to be sleeping.
I closed my eyes praying this was a dream. When I opened then she was staring right at me
Tears quickly started to fall as I took in her features
"Baby" I could see her tears falling as she wanted to just ball her eyes out
I kissed her hand as I sat next to her
"I love you okay?" I said
She nodded
"I love you so much and we gone fix it"
She continued to nod. I kept kissing her hand and she fell asleep
It's been a week since the incident and Ezra was still in the hospital, however she got out tomorrow.
I dialed a Familiar number bring the phone to my ears
"Yo" I heard
"It's smoke"
"Woaaaaaah wassup bro what you been on?"
"Shit you know me man but I'm calling bout business"
"Business business?" He asked shocked
"I need info"
"Say no more" he immediately said
"Text me the deets and give me 20"
"Good looks man" I said sighing
"One" he said before the line disconnected
I texted him all the information I had before getting ready
Once in my car I received the address. It was maybe an hour drive out but this was necessary.
I reached my destination and turned my lights out Staring across the street at the house with no lights on . It was 3 in the morning now so I'm sure everyone was asleep
I checked my address one more time before stepping out and making my way over to his place .
Normally i would take my time but I needed this man gone immediately
I slid in the house and though the back door and felt around for the stairs. I checked all doors and all were empty besides the one at the end where the light shined underneath.
As I got closer I could hear the water running And my mind went back to the way they found Ezra.
I locked my silencer onto the gun and shot three times through the shower curtain
He immediately fell
I opened to see a man choking on his blood
I stared at him as I watched him die and a little bit of weight lifted of my shoulders.
When I got home the sun was coming up and I needed to change before going to get Gianni and Ezra.
Glad my mind is a bit at ease
