"But Sir, with all due respect... He is our special client..."
"And what about me? I'm not special enough for you?"
"It's not that, sir. It's just..."
"I will be having the same as him, then, regardless of the price. Did you hear me? I don't care how much it costs. Now, will you serve it to me, or shall I go to another bar?"
The waiter let out a sigh and brought the man a glass filled with something that looked like Bloody Mary but smelled differently.
He had already drunk half of the beverage when he finally recognized the salty, slightly metallic tinge of a flavour that had invaded his mouth.
He quickly tried to spit out the sip that was already finding its way to his stomach.
The special client, wrapped up in a black cloak, turned around and looked at him with an ample smile, showing his white, long, sharp fangs.
