"Shit" I mumbled and quickly hid the blade back in my bag when he wasn't looking.
Brennen: Colby Brock.
He looked around.
Brennen: Why am I not surprised?
He turned to face me and smirked. I got up and pulled my sleeves down, covering my cuts.
Colby: what do you want Brennen?
Brennen: I was curious where you disappeared to
He looked down and his smirk disappeared almost instantly.
Brennen: what the fuck?
I looked down and saw the blood was dripping from my arm onto the ground.
Colby: shit
I turned my back to him and rummaged through my bag looking for my bandages. I grabbed some and wrapped it around my arm temporarily as I didn't want to clean it in front of him. I put the remaining bandages in my back and turned back to Brennen. I had no idea how he was feeling. No emotion was showing whatsoever. I ran past him and sprinted home.
I got home and luckily my dad wasn't here. I went to the bathroom to clean my cuts and apply the bandage properly when I heard a knock at the door.
I went to open it and there stood Brennen. I went to close it in his face but he stopped me and instead, pushed through, inviting himself into my house.
Brennen: we need to talk
