Seriously? Does he think I'm a stupid? I rolled my eyes and scoffed.
Colby: seriously? All this pretending to care about me only just so you can try and make a fool out of me? I'm not falling for it Brennen.
I turned my back to him and went to walk away but he called out.
Brennen: Colby wait!
I turned back around to face him.
Colby: no. I'm done. I'm done with all the bullshit. All the teasing. All of you trying to make a fool out of me just for your entertainment. I'm done with it all.
Next time you want to lie to someone, make sure it's actually believable.
Brennen opened his mouth as he went to say something but I continued speaking, stopping him.
Colby: GOD and to think I actually liked you.
Brennen looked at me in surprise and I realised what I said.
Crap.
Brennen: you like me?
Colby: liked. I keep ignoring all the shitty things you've done to me for hope that maybe, just maybe, we could be together. But I give up. I can't do it anymore. No person is worth this much pain.
I turned around again and walked off. Brennen calling my name behind me.
I ignored him and just kept on walking. As I walked along the path, I questioned on whether to go home or not. I was so deep in thought that I didn't even realise the white lights coming straight for me.
