Harry's POV.
I turn into Knockturn Alley and see that it is pretty vacant, other than a few people running about, way less crowded than Diagon Alley. I see vampires sticking to the shadows, all going to some pub, it appears to be only for creatures. I smirk, but continue on my way, to the Wand shop in Knockturn.
I walk in and am greeted by Gregorovitch.
"Mr. Potter, I am surprised to find you here. Didn't Olivander already give you a wand?" He asks me.
"Yes, but that wand was rigged to work with all the blocks I had on my core, it no longer accepts me as it's owner," I tell him.
"I see, then why didn't you go back to Olivander, not that I mind, I am just curious," He asks.
"Well, since he gave me a wand that Dumbledore told him to give me, that must mean that he reports to Dumbledore, and I am not into that, anymore," I tell him.
"I see. Well, give me your current wand," He asks.
I hand him my 11 inches, holly wood, with pheonix feather core wand to him.
"I see, the core is still compatible, but only slightly. It needs something to help it, the wood, however, no longer likes your magic," He explains to me.
"I see. How do we get the core and wood?" I ask him
"Let your magic feel around the room, feel the pull towards what you need," He tells me.
I let my magic cover the room, my dark magical core. I feel several pulls around the store. I get the wood first, placing it on a table in front of Gregorovitch. I then go over to the core section and grab what looks like a piece of dementor cloak and a Basilisk scale.
I hand the jars to Gregorovitch and he looks at it rather apprehensively.
"This will be a very powerful wand. It leads more to the dark arts but can do light magic easily too. Which is good for you, since your core is basically black," Gregorovitch tells me.
I laugh at the last part, "Yeah, I am aware of my core," I tell him, with a smirk on my face.
"I will have the wand made in an hour, so you can go get other things if you need to, or you can wait. It's up to you," He tells me.
"I need to do more shopping, I will be back in an hour," I tell him, walking to the door.
"Do you want the trace on it?" He asks as I open the door.
"No. I am legally an adult, so I shouldn't have the trace either," I explain to him.
"Got it. See you in a bit," He replies.
I nod in reply, then walk out the door.
I walk over to a store that appears to be selling muggle-like weapons. I walk in, looking to stalk up on some, even though I don't need to, considering I have two Kagunes, the feathers work as knives, so I am curious as to why I am in here.
I look around and spot a few knives I like, as well as a mask. It is red, covering up to my cheekbones, leaving my eyes visible. I grab it, along with the knives, an enchanted cloak, and knife holders, and head over to the cashier. He rings everything up and I pay the price that everything came to.
Then I walk over to a book store, I get some books on the Dark Arts, I even found one in Parseltongue. I paid for those and returned to Gregorovitch's Wand Shop. I walked inside the book shop and saw him organizing his jars of random stuff, cleaning up after the wand making.
"Right on time, Mr. Potter, let me get it from the back," Gregorovitch tells me, leaving the jars to get my new wand.
He comes back with it in a black box. He opens it and I see a black, grey, and white wand. It looks like someone took the ash from charcoal, the mix-up grey, and white, and painted it on my wand.
"The basilisk and dementor caused the wood to change colors, hence the black. The Pheonix left the white spots, and the grey is when the cores mixed. It is mostly black since it is more powerful using dark magic. It is still 11 inches. It will cost you 12 galleons," Gregorovitch tells me.
"There is no trace, right?" I ask him.
"Nope. Adult wizards, whether it be legally or physically, do not get a trace. Anything else?" he asks me,
"I would like a wand holster, one that is hidden from view," I ask of him.
"Well, I have only one left, it is a deep green, but has what you want," he tells me, going over to pull it out.
"That is perfect. How much will that be?" I ask him.
"Well, the wand is 12 galleons, the holder is 3 galleons since the charms are quite strong. Your total today is 15 galleons," Gregorovitch replies.
I hand over the money then leave the store. I walk over to a clothes shop. I grab black t-shirts, a few muscle shirts, black skinny jeans, a few whitewash jeans with rips in them, and a leather jacket. I also grab some fancy robes and some casual robes. Then I go check out.
After paying I go to a different book shop, one that supplies Hogwarts supplies. I didn't have the list yet, however, the owner should know what books I need.
"Good afternoon, how may I help you today?" Asks a woman, who is too cheery to be working in Knockturn.
"I need to get the required books for the fourth year at Hogwarts. Letters have not gone out yet, so I am not sure which ones I will need," I tell her.
"I see. Trying to beat the rush?" She asks.
"You bet. So what books do I need?" I ask her.
"You will need The Standard Book of Spells (Year Four), by Miranda Goshawk, you will also need The Dark Forces: A Guide to Self-Protection, by Quentin Trimble," She tells me, pulling the books off the shelves.
"Will this be all?" She asks.
"Yes, how much?" I respond to her.
"Just 7 galleons," She tells me.
I fish out seven galleons, then hand it to her. She gives me the books and moves to help the next customer, Blaise Zabini. His father talks to the lady, while Blaise looks around, he notices me.
"Potter?" Zabini asks.
"Yes, Zabini," I tell him.
"What are you doing here in Knockturn, thought the light stayed in Diagon," Zabini asks, with a mixture of curiosity and snark.
"Yes, light wizards do. Something about Knocturn being full of evil people," I tell him, rather vaguely.
"So why are you here, by yourself, for that matter?" Zabini asks.
"Decided to get some shopping done, you would not believe how nice that weapon shop is by Gregorovitch's," I tell him.
"What are you doing in there? Most wizards and witches leave it alone, except the LeStranges, Malfoys, and Parkinsons. A few others shop there too, but are usually wearing death eater garb," He explains to me.
"I was just browsing," deciding not to reveal too much too soon.
"Oh, ok," He replies, as his father calls him over.
"I gotta go, see you at Hogwarts, Potter," Zabini states in a rude tone, but his eyes betraying him. He was confused and curious.
I smirk a demented smirk as I walk out the door right after they leave. I turn left, back the entrance, deciding to go visit Sirius and Remus. I apparate to 12 Grimmauld Place, yep I know how to apparate, since the summer after the second year.
