Harry's POV.
I enter the train and immediately head towards the snake pit on the train. I sit in an empty compartment and wait for the train to take off.
Five minutes until the train is due to leave the station, the compartment door opens. I open my eyes and see Draco enter, along with Baise, and Pansy.
"Well, what's a lion doing in the snake pit?" Pansy asks, looking like she is stalking her prey.
"Hiding," I tell them, looking at Blaise.
"What is the great Potter hiding from?" Draco sneers.
"Well, currently I am hiding from a mudblood and a blood traitor," I tell them, just as rude.
"What changed your mind?" Draco asks.
"A Gringotts visit. How was Knockturn, Blaise?" I ask, turning my attention to Zabini.
"Good. Got the books from the store we ran into you at, then we got some new robes, then went home. How was your visit?" He asks in return.
"Well, before I ran into you, I was at Gregorovitch's, getting fitted for a new wand, my old one was no longer compatible with me after something happened. While I was waiting for the wand to be made, I visited that weapons shop I mentioned, I did actually buy a few things there, then I got me some actual clothes that fit, hence what I am wearing, went book shopping, got a few in some different areas of magic, went back to Gregorovitch's to collect my new wand, then went to get the school books I will need this year. Then I spent the rest of the summer with Remus," I tell him.
"Can I see the things you bought at the weapons shop?" Zabini asks, his eyes wide with excitement.
I laugh and pull out my shrunken trunk. I shift my hand slightly to get it to enlarge again, using a wandless and wordless spell, before opening the trunk. I pull out the three knives I bought, all of them in their protective holders, handing one to Blaise at a time.
He pulls the blades out of the sheathes, and inspects them. "These are wicked, they all have anti-summon charms on them, along with a rune that tells it to return to their owner after being inactive for a minute, if you drop them, or to return to you once the target is dead when you throw them. It also has the charm to keep it from being noticeable or even sensed. It is practically invisible to all magic and muggle sensory. The blades themselves, one is made of stainless steel, the other is goblin-wrought silver, and the last one is made of unicorn horn. These are amazing," Blaise rants.
"How did you know all of that?" Draco asks.
"Well, like how Ollivander can sense what wands are made of, I can sense what weapons are made of, along with any charm or rune they may have on them," he explains.
"Cool. I also bought this cloak, that hides me, allowing me to blend into the shadows, and this red mask," I say pulling the cloak and mask out.
"Why would you want a mask that doesn't cover your eyes?" Pansy asks, looking at it confused.
"Well, if you have two different sets of eyes when the public is only aware of one, it becomes more important to hide the shapes of your nose, mouth, and jawline," I explain to them.
They look at me confused, before deciding to just drop it. Blaise hands me the knives back and I put them away in the trunk. I close it, locking it in parseltongue, before shrinking it and putting it back in my pocket.
"So, what caused this change?" Draco asks me.
"Well, coming into an inheritance a little more than three years early was one cause, the next was seeing who had access to my vaults, the next was seeing all the blocks and compulsions on me. Which, were all broken due to the inheritance," I tell them.
"You came into your creature inheritance, before your 14th birthday?" Draco asks me, looking a little concerned.
"Yea," I reply sheepishly, rubbing the back of my neck.
"Was it just a strong creature, or the other reason?" Draco asks.
"The other reason," I respond, grateful that he didn't say what the other reason was out loud.
"What other reason?" Blaise asks, looking confused.
"Yeah, the only other reason a creature inheritance comes in early, other than it being a strong creature, is near---" Pansy stops herself, looking at me sadly.
"Yeah, that happened," I reply to her unasked question.
It suddenly clicks for Blaise, he looks shocked and saddened. I sigh in response to the emotions I see.
"Ok. What were the blocks and compulsions about?" Pansy asks, changing the topic for me.
"Well, blocks were to weaken my magical abilities in school, even my core was blocked by like 70%, I was surprised that I was able to do magic at all," I tell them. "The compulsions were to hate Slytherins, Snape, the Dark, Voldemort, who turns out is actually one of my godfathers, loyalty to Dumbledore, the light, and the Weasleys," I conclude.
"Wow, the Light is seriously messed up," Blaise comments.
"No kidding, good thing I'm not a light wizard," I comment.
Blaise's head snaps up towards me, "That's what your comment was hinting at, in Knockturn?" he asks.
"Yep. Gregorovitch said that my core was pretty much black, which is ironic considering my wand has a pheonix feather in it, but it also has a basilisk scale and a piece of dementor cloak," I tell them.
"That's a neat wand, does it have the trace still?" Draco asks.
"Nope. I am legally an adult, meaning I don't need the trace. It also means I can participate in the Triwizard Tournament if I wanted to. Which I do not want to, however, things never go my way. Watch, my name will pop out, even though I have no plans to enter," I tell them.
"You know about the Tournament?" Draco asks me, shocked that I know already.
"Yep, knew about it around three weeks into break, stupid dream," I respond to him.
"You had a dream about the tournament coming back to Hogwarts?" Pansy asks.
"No, I had a dream about Voldemort using the tournament to get me to him for some ritual to get his body back," I tell them.
They look at me like I am crazy, but just shrug it off, since it's a bit hard to know what to do with that information.
"Alright, then," Blaise comments.
The rest of the ride is pretty silent, no one asking where I am, no one barging in, and the questioning finally stopped.
When we arrived at Hogwarts, I rode the carriage, pulled by thestrals to the castle. Joining the other Gryffindors at the table, with a painful sigh.
