Every school has its golden couple. You know them well. They're the pair that will stay together all through college, eventually get married, and live happily ever after in a large house with their equally as large amount of children. You've seen them in the courtyard - hands clasped together in a perfect fit - you've seen them in your classes, effortlessly answering questions while sliding each other knowing looks - and you've definitely seen them at all the parties... Before they headed upstairs to one of the bedrooms, of course.

You know them. Everybody knows them. How could you not know them? Their lives are perfect, their friends are perfect, and their looks are perfect. They are perfect, popular, admired, and most importantly, in love.

Or at least, they were.

"How could you?" you, one-half of the soon to be not so golden couple asks, tears building out the corner of your eyes. "How could you do this to me now?"

Jimin, your now ex-boyfriend barely looks fazed. If anything, he looks amused. The sight makes your blood boil and you can't help but dig your nails into your palms until angry red crescents appear on your skin.

"So you're just going to stand there?" you scoff, hands balled at your sides as you glared up at him. You want to hit him, you wish you could hit him.

Jimin still looks stoic, hands in the pockets of his sweatshirt as his friends surround him wearing the same one, albeit in different styles. When you agreed on going out with him you felt like you were damn near going out with Bangtan as well. They weren't the best guys, always sleeping around with girls and leaving a trail of broken hearts to match. They took what they wanted without consequence, and although there were members who were worse than others, they still fell into the same category - except for Jimin.

Jimin wasn't like them at all. He cared for you, made sure you were taken care of and never stressed yourself too much about school (mostly because he never did his work, to begin with).

He was perfect, like a knight in shining armor with his soft lips and smile-like eyes. It wasn't until six months into your seemingly golden relationship that he started acting differently. Constantly making advances on you like not so casually cupping your ass under your skirts or letting his fingertips trail too far under your bra. You constantly told him that you wanted to wait but he'd still find some excuse to take things too far and would always leave with an attitude afterward before disappearing off to home for the night, or so he'd say. When you finally let him have you, when he finally convinced you into letting him into your bed, It was a night filled with hurried thrust and rough touches. He ignored you as if you were a speck of gum on his shoe. You didn't think too much of it seeing as he had already been acting out of character for weeks but now that you stood before him and his friends, you were slowly seeing Jimin for who he truly was... And you didn't like what you saw.

"What else do you want me to say, princess?" You grimace at the nickname that used to make you giddy. "I told you. We're over. Do you know how annoying it was to deal with a whiny bitch like you for the past six months? It was definitely not worth the fifty bucks."

A majority of the party goers had stopped at this point to watch the drama unfold, letting out a sharp breath at this proclamation, unable to believe their do-no-wrong Jimin would commit such a crime. He always was considered one of the halfway decent boys out of the bunch, but the way he looked at you now with such victory in his eyes, you knew that he had been putting up a front the entire time.
