Would You Like To Dance?

I was putting on the dress for the ball tonight. Thank goodness it was a Friday night or I would not get a wink of sleep at all.

(Yes, we're going all out. We have to make an entrance right)

I fixed my hair and then there was a knock on my door.

"Come in"

The door opened revealing Lester and Lesley. Lesley smiled but Lester's jaw dropped. He looked me up and down and smiled. He exaggeratively wiped his imaginary tear from his eye before talking.

"You've grown up so much Y/N, I can't believe it. Just yesterday you were playing in the sand at the beach with your mother and father. Now you're a woman"

He walked to me and hugged me tightly. I couldn't help but shed a tear as well.

After a while, he pulled back and wiped my tears.

"No crying, tonight you have fun"

I tilted my head. Lester always knows when I have a mission.

"What-"

"Have fun tonight Y/N, don't stress"

I nodded and smiled at him.

"I'll leave you girls alone"

He walked out closing the door behind him. Lesley came to me and primped my hair lightly.

"Where were you last night Y/N"

I held my breath before she looked at me sternly almost angry-like. Her and Lester really changed personalities overnight.

"Y/N, where were you"

I sighed deeply getting prepared to speak.

"I went to a.... friend's house"

She raised an eyebrow at me

"What friend"

"Jungkook..."

She looked at me before going back to primping my hair.

"Jeon Jungkook, am I correct?"

I gasped quietly and looked at the floor.

"I don't know what you're talking about"

She let out a chuckle and looked at me.

"Y/N, I've known you all your life, I am not stupid."

I kept my head down a bit ashamed that she knew.

"Remember, your father. He wants him dead Y/N."

She smiled at me as if what she said was okay. She grew serious when she realized I had a blank expression. She held my hands and looked me in my eyes

"I don't want you to get hurt y/n. You know your father."

"Well, he doesn't know what he looks like"

She looked at me with wide eyes before gasping at me

"Have you fallen for him"

I scoffed at what she just said and pulled my hands away from her.

"No of course not. He's my enemy."

"His father is your father's enemy, not yours"

I grew serious at her and grabbed the knife in my cabinet. The same knife I was supposed to use to kill Jungkook that night. I waved it in front of her face shakily.

"I will kill him tonight. I will. For my mom, for daddy"

She only nodded and backed away looking at me once more. She took the knife from me and tucked in underneath my dress against my underwear.

"Whatever you say darling. Now let's go to that party shall we?"

I nodded and Lester drove my father, Lesley and me to the ball.

I was ready, tonight was the night I was going to end it all.
