"thank you sa kape" I said, kobe smiled, I saw ada's grip on kobe, hinigpitan niya ito,

"sige pasok kayo, sorry medyo magulo pa." I stepped aside to let them walk pass me, umupo naman sila sa sofa.

The sofa looked so small because of kobe, ricci used to be like that sa sofa namin dati. Silence enveloped us when I sat down, I was wearing my pajamas while they looked around the condo.

"I stayed here a year before I left." Ada's eyes widened. I answered her question before she even asked.

"napakalapit mo lang pala, how come it was so hard to find you?" kobe asked.

"pag nagtatago ka kasi, mahihirapan talaga sila maghanap." ada said, I nodded and sipped on my coffee.

"who knew that you stay here?" ada asked.

"javi, einica, noah, bright. The gdl's except juan. james." I started listing names, kobe nodded.

"how are you kal?" ada asked.

"the truth or the lie?"

"the truth, always the truth" kobe said for ada.

"miserable, haven't had a decent sleep since that night." I replied, napapansin naman siguro nila na ang lalim ng eye bags ko, na I almost don't have energy for anything. In short, I am not the kalon na kilala nila,

"kalon, about that night..." kobe started, but I smiled, hindi ko na hinayaan pang ituloy niya ang sasabihin niya.

"wag na nating isipin yun, tapos na, walang magbabago kung babalikan pa." kobe nodded.

They started to talk about their life, and sometimes asked me about mine. Ang laki ng pinagbago ni ada when she became kobe's girlfriend. She completely came out of her shell. She became a better version of herself.

Never come back to what broke you, sabi nila, but here am I, sitting sa table, looking at the guests. Engagement party nila Javi ngayon, I'm invited, isa ako sa bride's maids.

Javi keeps on looking at me, pabalik balik ang tingin niya sa akin. I raised my thumbs to show na okay lang ako.
He nodded and continued to talk to the person he's talking to.

"ate kalooooon!" nilingon ko ang tumawag sa pangalan ko, it was mara. Then I saw tito bert and tita anna, jordi, jaime, kuya joe, of course, juan.

Tumayo ako, mara hugged me and jaime also, kuya joe patted my shoulder and hugged me aswell. Bumeso ako kay tito at tita, nginitian ko si juan.

"pumapayat ka ata iha?" tita anna asked, I laughed.

"sakto lang naman po tita," matapos ang kamustahan ay nakipagusap na sila sa parents ni ate einica. Nginitian ko si juan, ang awkward ng silence.

"hi kalon" he said, I smiled looking at the pool.

"kamusta?" I asked him, nagkibit balikat lamang siya. I know na it will be awkward between me and juan.

"you don't have to stay here" sabi ko, because it was true, he is welcome to go and mingle with his other friends.
He looked at me before standing up at pumasok na sa hotel, nakaupo lang ako sa sofa na malapit sa pool, but may glass na harang.

"hi po" a young boy approached, I smiled at him, nahihirapan siyang umupo sa upuan that's why I helped him.

Anak ni ricci 'to. Hindi ako pwedeng magkamali, kamukhang kamukha niya eh.

"my name is win po" he introduced himself, I shook his small hands.

"my name is kalon"

"kawon?" I laughed at his pronunciation of my name.

"tita wave can you say that?" I asked, he nodded clapping his hands for getting my name right.

"tita wave may fishies ba?" he asked, Sinilip ko kunyari yung pool.

"wala eh." kunyaring sad ako. He nodded his head. Ang dami niya nang nakwento sa akin, school niya, yung teacher niya sa math na laging may pa cookies.

"ah, you will be walking for the wedding?" I asked him, papalubog na ang araw. But nasa labas pa rin kami ni win,

"yes tita wave, dada said that I have to howd this piwwow and wawk for tito wavi" he said, I smiled at his cuteness, nahihirap siyang i-pronounce yung letter l at j.

"you wanna go inside?" I asked him, he nodded, but I noticed his eyes were shutting down kaya I carried him inside.

"oh my God!" ada said when she saw us walking inside the venue, I was carrying win, kumunot ang noo ko.

"kanina pa namin siya hinahanap." kobe said,

"magkasama kami sa pool banda, wala bang nagcheck dun?" I asked, ibinaba ko ang bag ko sa chair,

"wala si win sa poo—" hindi natapos ni ricci ang sasabihin niya nang makita niya ako, ngumiti ako.

"he fell asleep, akala ko naman alam niyo na pumunta siya sa may pool area kanina mag-isa" I informed him, but na estatwa lang siya dun, naalimpungatan si win ng konti, akmang kukuhain siya ni ricci nang humigpit ang yakap niya niya sa leeg ko.

"tita wave, no" he mumbled and hugged my neck tighter, hinaplos ko naman ang likod niya para makatulog ulit.

"sorry sa abala." ricci said getting a chair for me,

"okay lang ricci. Okay lang"
