~~~~~~Jacob POV~~~~~~
The next morning Gia and I lost everything besides each other. They burned our clothes at the factory. We didn't have any food, no water, no heat...not a thing but the clothes we had on. Gia had a stick between two stones trying to make a fire. I was sharpening a stick against a sharp rock.
"UGH FUCK IT!" Gia groaned out and rolled her eyes. She laid her head on my lap and sniffled.
"You smell like blood and armpit" she laughed.
"And you smell like blood and fish" I said laughing. Gia raised and eyebrow and stopped laughing.
"I'm kidding, you smell like blood and dirt." I said and chuckled. She turned her head and laid back down.
"Aww, baby I didn't mean to upset you" I said, holding back my laughter.
"I'm not mad...just tired, I don't even care about how cold it is right now, even though my toes feel like they're freezing off." She explained.
I took off heavy jacket and laid it on her. I grabbed the stick and two stones and gave it a shot. I sat the stick between them and spun quickly and added tinder at the bottom. I blew at the tinder softly and waited for smoke to appear. I looked down at Gia, who was touching the spear that I made. I spun the stick faster and glanced back at Gia, smirking. She was staring straight ahead with no expression.
"I did good didn't I?" I bragged.
"You know, cause I do good at everything." I continued on.
"Like I'm good at fighting, POP, holding it down, eating pu-" Gia interrupted me before putting her hand over my mouth.
"Jacob, shut up please, and just look straight ahead." Gia said quietly.
I turned head and squinted at a small grey blob in the distance. My vision cleared up revealing a little grey wolf. I stood up and got in front of Gia, taking the spear away from her. The wolf got closer until he was 20 feet away from us. I pointed to the shelter Gia and I made, signaling for her to go inside of it.
She got up slowly and broke eye contact with the wolf and sat on a tree branch. A loud growl escaped the wolf's mouth as I stepped closer to him. I glanced at Gia quickly and looked back at the wolf.
"COME ON!" I said as Gia jumped down from the branch.
"What are you doing, get back up there." I demanded her. Gia snatched the spear away from me and turned invisible.
"Watch and learn, amateur." She said. I walked over to the tree and sat on the tree branch.
~~~~~~Gia POV~~~~~~

The wolf sat there growling and began whimpering as I stared at him. I took a few steps closer as the wolf turned around, realizing there was no one. He sat down and howled and a tiny pack of cubs came to him.

"It's a she...a mother, fuck I can't do this!" I mumbled to myself. I walked back and turned visible.

"Jacob I can't do it, I'm hungry but not that hungry." I sighed and sat down in front of the fire that Jacob made. He jumped down and sat down beside me. I grabbed some more tinder and added it to the fire, making the fire bigger.

"Come on" He stood up and grabbed my hand and pulled me to where he was going.

"What about our fire?" I asked him, chattering my teeth. I hugged him from his side as we walked. Jacob wrapped his arms around me and pointed to a glare on the ground.

"Do you see that?" He asked me, as I stared at the ground. I picked up my head and shivered.

"Shit it's cold. What is it?" I asked.

Jacob kept walking and finally stopped in front of a small pond. He pulled out the spear and a small net that was folded up in his pocket. He crouched down and sat the net in the water. Jay stood on a rock and and picked up a piece of plant, that the fish were eating.

"Grab that piece of net..." He pointed to the side facing me. "...and when I say go, pull it up, quickly as possible and drag it over to the grass." He directed me.

Jacob and I sat there for about 5 minutes until a small school of fish were eating the piece of plant that Jacob put into the net.

"Go!" Jacob whisper yelled.

I quickly pulled the net up and so did Jacob. I dragged it over to the grass and wrapped it up. Jacob stabbed the spear into the each one of the fish's bodies. I turned away as I saw blood splatter into the ground. Jacob sniffled and wiped a drop of blood off of his forehead with his arm.

"Come on, let's get back to the fire." He grabbed the net and threw it over this shoulder.

~~~~~~Jacob POV~~~~~~
When we got back to our spot, I counted out 7 fish in all. I chopped off their heads and skinned them.
"That smells so bad" Gia said as she gagged.
"How do you think I feel?" I said skinning the last one. I handed them to her as she put them on a stick and hovered them over the fire. She got up and grabbed a few berries and crushed them on a leaf and drank the juice from them, she handed me the rest of the juice. 20 minutes later Gia took the fish off of the stick and laid them each on a individual leaf and put berries on them for taste I guess.
"I feel homeless to the extreme." I confessed. "We are, technically" she shrugged.
We both took a bite of our fish and looked at each other. "I could've did better, it's still bland." She said, picking at her food. Gia sat her fish down and walked away, farther into the woods. I took another bite and followed her over to a beautiful scenery.
"Holy shit" I mumbled
