Caged Freedom

If I were to turn back time,
I will unlock my self
like an eagle flying;
chasing her dreams,
breaking the cage,
and ready to face circumstances
along the wind that might blow her.

If I were to turn back time,
I will decide by my own;
no rules tied upon my neck,
no chains to stop me from flying,
no limits from maneuvering my speed,
and maybe if I can,
I could be the image I wanted my self to be.

If I were to turn back time,
I won't be afraid anymore.
I will be a brave eagle
not afraid to her predators.
I will be a brave eagle,
and never let myself be a weakling prey.
I won't let anyone stop me from flying.

If I were to turn back time,
I won't take their judgments
as a basis of my strengths and weakness.
I will define my own
because I know my self better.
They will be surprise from my principles
because they know I shall not be conquered.

If I were to turn back time,
no one can throw stones on me.
I will prove to them that I am a great pilot;
bold and wild.
I will show no fear in spreading my wings,
and howling my liberty.
I am born to be a fighter, no one can haunt me easily.

If I have turned back time,
maybe I am not an endangered eagle;
Anytime, I'll fall in oblivion—
of unwanted cages they've built,
of prison they called "home"
and no one will ever set me free
from the burden the society have chosen for me.
