-x- Shōki's POV -x-
"C'mon, Ketsu! This'll be so much fun!" Toga giggled, tilting her head at me. Her golden eyes sparkled, a wide grin across her face.
I smiled back, my cheeks becoming slightly heated. "Yeah..."
"Alright," Shigaraki stopped before a room. "This is where we'll train." He glanced at me for a moment before turning around and pushing the door open.
Inside was a mostly bare room, the walls decorated with rust and grime. It wasn't awful, though. It would at least suit our purposes.
As we wandered into the center of the room, Shigaraki faced me once again. "So, first we need to figure out exactly what your quirk is."
I raised a brow. "And how do we do that?"
He sighed, making hand gestures as he was trying to explain. "Just... You can feel your quirks, can't you?"
After thinking about it for a moment, I nodded hesitantly. "I think so."
"Great. Now, try to channel Split. Make sure not to use your other quirk."
Nodding, I stepped backwards and closed my eyes. Letting out a deep breath, I pressed my hands together and searched for some sort of power.
Eventually, I came across a strange feeling and reached out for it, my eyes widening as I felt my body sting with a red, hot pain.
"Something's... Wrong...," I said through gritted teeth, pressing my hand against my forehead.
Collapsing to the ground, I felt as if I were being ripped in two. However, suddenly, the feeling stopped.
Two lights appeared before me-one red, and the other blue. Curiously, I extended my fingers towards the two lights, tracing in between them.
Looking away, I closed my eyes and picked one of them randomly, a blue light exploding before me. And, it almost felt as if I were becoming a ghost to my own body.
-x- Toc's POV -x-
Opening my eyes, I glanced around. After a moment of investigation, I picked myself up and dusted myself off.
My eyes trailed towards Shigaraki-I believe he was called-and I scanned him up and down.
"I'm assuming," I met his eyes, "You have quite a destructive quirk. Nicely-or rather, unfortunately-paired with a similar, childish personality."
Shigaraki's eye widened and he growled. "What are you talking-"
"Ah...," I turned towards Dabi. "And you. I see that you have a large amount of scarring. Flame quirk go haywire? And your demeanor suggests you dole out heavy doses of sarcasm and speak of your annoyances. However, you seem... Quieter."
He scowled at me, eyes narrowed. I, however, paid him no mind.
"And you...," my eyes settled on Toga. "Are just plain crazy."
She shrugged, grinning. "He's got me pegged."
I cleared my throat, folding my arms behind my back. "I'm known as Toc. I am a manifestation of Midoriya's-or rather Shōki's-quirk. A part of the whole, if I might say."
"I see...," Shigaraki nodded slightly, making eye-contact with me. "So this is what 'Split' means. And exactly what part of him are you?"
With an unchanged expression, I began to explain. "I am, in short, his calculating personality. I don't have the luxury-or in my opinion, burden-of experiencing complex emotions. My counterpart on the other hand," I glanced away, scoffing. "He's more of a loose cannon. He is, to put it in simple terms, insane. I suggest you don't 'release' him often."
"So we've got annoying and crazy," Dabi commented. "Great."
"I'll have you know, I'm far superior to the... other one. You've already seen him before. Of course, he was more feral then, since Shōki wasn't in complete control, or even aware of his quirk. If he's released now, he'll be far less dangerous. However, I wouldn't say he's exactly safe."
Toga tilted her head. "So is he the one who attacked Shigaraki?" Her face lit up. "Oh! what's his name?"
"That's him," I sighed. "His given name is Tic."
"Tic Toc?" Dabi smirked.
I narrowed my eyes at him. "Yes, exactly. Anyways," I turned, facing towards Shigaraki. "Shōki is able to summon either of us when needed. I'll likely be used for plans and more logic-centered operations, while my counterpart will act as a last resort. Since he's a combination of us, he'll have similar personality traits, but they'll be toned down. Additionally," I mentioned, "Either of us is able to come out when we feel as if it is necessary to protect the host or when we are feeling strong emotions. I'll likely only show myself for the former, however."
"So is Shōki in any control of you?" Shigaraki questioned.
I tilted my head from side to side. "Yes and no. While he, for the most part, cannot control our direct actions, he can send us thoughts and, if necessary, can force us out. That ability won't likely be needed, though."
Toga smiled. "This sounds fun! So many different Ketsus! Oh man!" she laughed, "So many names." (lol im sorry there are a lot of names, but I didn't want to refer to them as "personality 1 & 2" or anything xD)
Dabi raised a brow. "Anyways, what are your powers? For what reason would he even need you if he's a mix?"
"Like I mentioned," I glanced down at him, "When he's not using his quirk, the personalities are toned down. For example, Tic may give him enhanced strength when he's summoned, but the ability will be far less powerful if Shōki attempts to use it normally. Or, if I were to compute, plan, negotiate, etc., the outcome would be superior to Shōki's own methods."
Flicking my eyes for a moment, I added, "Oh, and, we can all be split into separate beings if necessary. However, it drains the user's power immensely, and can only be used for a short period of time. Our stamina will also be split between the three of us. And, if the core-aka, the main personality-of Shōki goes down, we will as well. Now, if you don't mind," I checked my watch, "I should be going." Glancing downwards, I allowed myself to begin to reform back into Shōki. "Remember," my voice echoed, "Don't allow him to use Tic unless it's absolutely necessary."
