Harry's POV
-Pensieve Vision-
Young Lexi was running around, oblivious to the possible danger that could be in the forest that was mere metres from where she was playing.
Suddenly, in the blink of an eye, a pale, eerie figure lunged out of the shadows of the forest and headed straight towards Lexi with remarkable speed. I tried to scream at her or to anyone close by, yet I knew no one would hear me. This vision was exceptionally harder for me, since Lexi was being hurt.
Lexi's giggles turned to cries and screams as the figure hunched over her, holding her down on the ground. I ran around to find the figure had his mouth attached to Lexi's left arm. The figure was Voldemort.
Voldemort was a vampire? He couldn't be. But I had to face the facts as he was sucking the life of a precious little child, a child who I love.
Growls were heard nearing Lexi and Voldemort. Voldermort snapped up and ran, darting back into the forest. Without hesitating, a few wolves ran into the forest after Voldemort, while Jacob and a few others phased back and ran over to Lexi's unconscious body.
Jacob was crying and screaming out for Billy, his father.
"What can we do? She's been bitten!"
"There is something..."
"What! We have to do it, whatever it is! If she had wolf blood, she'll die. If she doesn't, she'll technically die anyway. I don't want her to be a vampire," Jacob cried, hugging his daughter's body to his chest.
There's a ritual performed by ancient tribes, to rid bodies of vampirism. It may work, or it may not. Since she's not actually a vampire yet, and we don't know whether the ritual will work--"
"Just do it!" Jacob yelled.
Lexi was laid on the ground and Billy started chanting, throwing some form of ash onto Lexi's body.
"She's stopped breathing! And her heart's not beating! Hurry up, Dad!" Jacob yelled.
Billy continued chanting with his eyes shut. He stopped, finished, and everyone stared at Lexi's lifeless body.
"Come on, Lexi! Please, don't leave me!" Jacob cried over his daughter. His only daughter.
Lexi suddenly gasped, inhaling deeply, before opening her eyes and sitting up.
"Lexi!" Jacob hugged his daughter.
"Dad, I'm scared," She said shakily.
"I'll always protect you,"

"What did you see?" Dumbledore could sense I was uneasy.
"I need to get to Lexi," I said, urgently.
"Harry, what did you see? Dumbledore asked, more urgent.
"Well, Voldemort is part vampire and he nearly killed Lexi when she was a child," I blurted out.
"Vampire?" Dumbledore was suddenly very curious.
"Yes. He must be like a different vampire or something, where he is able to hide it 'cause I've never seen him sparkle or seen his eyes red. I don't know. Anyway, I really need to go,"
"Go, Harry. I'll do a bit of researching,"

"Lexi, I'm so glad you're okay!" I exclaimed and hugged Lexi tightly. I felt like I would never let her go after I watched the flashback where she nearly died.
"Uhh...Harry? What's going on?" Lexi was confused as to why I was suddenly very affectionate. I pulled her back and looked at her left arm. There, I found a crescent scar, that looked like teeth marks. A vampire bite.
I gasped, and ran my finger slowly over the scar, feeling the change in temperature from the rest of her skin.
"Harry, what's going on?" Lexi asked quietly as I continued running my finger over the scar, the only reminder of her near-death experience.
"Do you remember how you got your scar?" I asked, serious.
"Not really. Dad doesn't really talk about it and whenever I asked him about it, he avoided the subject. Why?" I looked down at my feet, still scarred from the vision.
When I avoided her question, she asked again, more demanding.
"Harry, what happened when you were with Dumbledore today?" Lexi put her fingers under my chin and pushed my chin up so my eyes were met with her beautiful chocolate-brown ones.
"I saw a vision of Voldemort's past, like usual, but you were in it,"
"When was the vision from?" Lexi was slightly worried, her eyes widened in fright.
"When you were about 4. Or 5, I don't really know,"
"What happened? Does it involve my scar?" I nodded. "Harry, answer me. What happened?"
"You were bitten by Voldemort and nearly died from the venom. Billy performed an ancient ritual which removed the vampire venom from your body, but it still left the scar,"
"What do you mean, 'nearly died'? Lexi asked, still curious yet scared.
"By nearly died, I mean you weren't breathing and your heart wasn't beating but they hadn't pronounced you 'dead' yet. Then, you surprised everyone by breathing again,"
McGonagall suddenly entered the Common Room, looking directly at Lexi and I.
"You two, Professor Dumbledore has requested you in his office," She said sternly. We followed her to Dumbledore's office, where she stayed. I'm guessing Dumbledore told her since she stayed in the office and wasn't dismissed or anything.
Either we were in trouble or Dumbledore knew something useful.
