Lexi's POV

Dumbledore didn't state when he was actually coming to pick me up, but I knew it was sometime in the morning. So, out of excitement, I woke up at 5am, had a shower to freshen up, had breakfast, took my suitcase downstairs, helped Mom with Ricky, and was still anxiously waiting for Dumbledore.

I was waiting for hours until, finally, Dumbledore turned up at 10am.

Mom walked outside with me to meet Dumbledore since it was Dad who was there when Dumbledore first showed up all those years ago.

"Mrs Black, I presume? Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster of Hogwarts," Dumbledore extended his hand towards Mom, who shifted Ricky on her hip so she could hold him and return the shake.

"Pleasure to meet you. I'm guessing you need to be punctual, so I'll let you two go," Mom replied politely. "Lexi, take care. And, say hi to Harry for me, okay," Mum told me as she hugged me tightly. I also received a very slobbery kiss from Ricky.

"Lexi, hold onto my arm and we'll be over the other side of the world in a matter of seconds."

I nodded, slightly anxious. As Dumbledore said, we were transported to the other side of the world in seconds. Yet, we landed not where I would've expected. We were not in Diagon Alley, but in a small neighbourhood.

"This is Budleigh Babberton, a small Muggle village," Dumbledore said, seemingly answering my thought, like he was able to read my mind.

"Why are we here?" I asked, confused as to why we would travel to a Muggle village.

"I have to talk to an old friend of mine and he will, most likely, be most interesting in you,"

"What about Harry? Do we have to pick him up or something?" I asked, fidgeting rapidly.

"Harry is sorted." Dumbledore answered vaguely.

"Sorted?"

"Just be patient, Lexi," Dumbledore smiled at me as we crossed the road to a seemingly abandoned. That was just an illusion though as once I stepped inside the house, I was shocked to see intricate ornaments atop fireplaces and chandeliers hanging from ceilings.

"Lexi!" I heard a very familiar and heart-warming voice call out. The voice belonged to Harry. I smiled widely at him as he embraced me tightly, squeezing me. "I missed you so much! You don't know how much better La Push is that Privet Drive!" He laughed.

I kissed him chastely on the cheek, aware that we still had company.

"I missed you too, Harry! You don't know how boring La Push is without you with me to kick the pack's butt in soccer!"

I remembered that Dumbledore had brought me here for a reason other than to be reunited with Harry. I looked to se Dumbledore speaking to a man who looked to be about in his 60's.

"Lexi, I'd like you to meet Horace Slughorn," Dumbledore introduced the older man.

"Nice to meet you, Mr Slughorn. I'm Lexi Black,"

"Nice to meet you too, Ms Black. Black...You wouldn't be related in any way to Sirius Black, or his family?"

"No, of course not. My family genes don't usually consist of magic," I decided that if Dumbledore could trust this man, then I could too. And plus, werewolves weren't like vampires who get killed if they reveal their secret to humans. "My genetics actually are mostly wolf,"

"Wolf! My dear, you are special!" Slughorn's eyes were like saucers. "Albus, here, said there was something special about you, as well as Mr Potter,"

Slughorn turned back to Professor Dumbledore, taking his focus off of me, which gave Harry an opportunity to wrap him arm around my waist.

"Horace, as you are most likely aware, I am not here for friendly conversation. I came here to request you to return to teaching at Hogwarts,"

"Albus, you know I don--"

"I thought these two remarkable students would be convincing enough," I blushed slightly at Dumbledore's statement. "Hogwarts needs a Potions teacher and you are perfectly suited to the role,"

"Well...fine. I suppose I can teach for a while. Thank you for popping by, Albus. Pleasure to meet you, Harry and Lexi,"

Harry and I nodded politely at Slughorn before departing with Dumbledore. At least we were in one Potions teacher's good books.
