A/N: This is the final chapter guys! There are still two more books left and the next two are longer (over 20 chapters). Enjoy and I'll try and get the next book up ASAP! The next one is called 'Emulator' so keep an eye out for it in the coming days or hours, depending on whether I procrastinate or not :D

Lexi's POV

Today's Sam's funeral. I am wearing just a plain, black, knee-length dress with black heels and a small black barette pulling back one side of my curls away from my face.

As Sam's body was lowered into the ground, I couldn't help but let the tears flow. Sam had known me since I was born and was like an uncle to me, like a second father.

After the funeral, I went straight to room, after giving my sympathies to Emily and hugging her. While in there, Jessie flew in and gave me a letter. I stroked the back of her head before opening the letter.

Lexi,

If you're still in on the plan, which I hope you are, Ron and I will be coming to pick you up at 3:00pm (your time). Harry is back at his guardians' place. They have been sent away, though. Be ready and I hope to God you told your parents beforehand.

Flutters started in my stomach as I anticipated seeing Harry again but I didn't want to leave my family behind, especially when Mom needs my help with Dad.

I pulled my suitcase out from the bottom of my cupboard and started putting clothes, jackets, long pants, changes of shoes, etc. in my suitcase, as well as my wolf toy that Dad gave me ages ago. I still wore the bracelet Mom sent me at Christmas when I was in my first year at Hogwarts.

I zipped up my packed suitcase and carried it downstairs, checking the time to find it was 2:48pm. Not long now....

"Lexi, are you still leaving?" Mom asked, her voice breaking.

"Yes. I need to and you would've had to deal with me moving out eventually," Seeing Mom sad made me want to cry.

"I know, but I hoped it wouldn't be this soon. It seems like we haven't spent enough time together," Mom started sobbing and I dropped my suitcase and ran into her arms, tears running down my face too.

"I love you, Mom. I'll miss you. I promise I'll visit when I can, okay?" I managed to say.

"You better, Alexandria Isabella Black," Mom teasingly scolded me, using my full name for effect. "You better say goodbye to your father, too,"

I nodded, giving Mom one last squeeze before heading over to the couch, where Dad was laying, splints holding his legs stable.

"Lexi, I thought I said you weren't going," Dad said as I was about to say goodbye.

"I'm sorry Dad but I have to. I have no choice. My friends need me,"

"Your family needs you!" Dad shouted, making me jump, "Your Mom needs help because she has to take care of a baby and me,"

"I'm aware of that. I'm only leaving to make our lives safer. Voldemort could come here to hunt me down, killing everyone here. I'd rather sacrifice myself than have everyone here in La Push die because I was too much of a coward to face my fears,"

"...I'm proud of you, Lexi," Dad suddenly said after a long pause, shocking me. One second he was yelling at me and the next, he's telling me that he's proud.

"Uhhh, thanks Dad," I gingerly hugged him, watching out for his legs.

"I love you, Lexi," Dad said, kissing my forehead.

"I love you too, Dad," I kissed him on the cheek, turning towards the front door where I saw a blue Ford which I recognised as the Weasley's flying car.

When I walked past Mom, she now had Ricky in her arms. I quickly gave Ricky a kiss on the cheek and hugged him, Ricky giving me a very slobbery kiss back. I handed Ricky back to Mum and walked out the door with my suitcase in tow.

"Lexi, wait!" Mum called out.

I turned to see Mum walk to me and hand me a locket necklace. The locket was a medium-sized oval and when I opened it, there was a picture of Dad, Mum and Ricky together on the right, and an inscription on the left.

"Thanks, Mum, but what does the inscription mean?" I asked.

"It means 'More than my own life'. My mother gave it to me right before they went into a battle to protect me. They didn't know whether they'd live or not so they wanted to keep a piece of themselves with me forever. While you were talking to Dad, I quickly changed the picture. It's so you remember Dad, Ricky and myself and how much we love you,"

"I love you guys so much, too!" Mum quickly did up the clip on the necklace and it hung down my neck, resting in between my breasts.

I waved bye to Mum and Ricky, shouting by the Dad since he couldn't see me off. I threw my luggage in the boot, Jessie in her cage in the backseat with me and I did up my seatbelt.

"Let's go,"
