Lexi's POV
I'm pretty sure the whole school came to witness Dumbledore's funeral. He was planted in a solid grave with his wand, holding it to his chest. His eyes were closed so you might think he was sleeping, other than the fact that his chest wasn't rising and falling.
Even though I'm not really a sentimental person, I have to admit that I was crying. Harry was crying as well, and we held each other. Ron and Hermione just looked sad, both of them embracing as well. Something told me that there was something going on between them.
After we were dismissed from the funeral, we all travelled back to the school and went to the Common Rooms. Once we were inside, Harry spoke up, deathly serious.
"Guys, I need you to know that next year, I'm not coming to school. I need to hunt down and kill Voldemort and I would like you guys to help me. He and his 'minions' or whatever they are have killed nearly everyone I care about: My parents, Sirius, now Dumbledore. If we don't stop him, you guys are going to be next and I can't deal with losing my best friends," Harry moved over to stand next to me, wrapping his arm around my waist, "Or my girlfriend," Harry planted a quick but passionate kiss on my lips.
"I'm in," I announced, my arm tightening slightly around Harry's waist.
"We're in, too," Ron and Hermione said together, their arms around each other's waist as well.
