Harry's POV

Dumbledore teleported away as soon as we returned to the school. I needed to find Lexi. I need to know she's okay and I need to explain.

"Expelliarmus!" I heard someone shout. It sounded like Malfoy. I looked in the direction of the noise, and saw Dumbledore near the balcony of the tower, cornered.

He needed help so I started racing towards the tower entry. It was a good 400 metres away and I wasn't fit like Lexi so I had to slow down a bit.

As soon as I reached the entrance to the tower, I sped up and ran up the 3 flights of stairs to the top, where Dumbledore was killed by Snape, right before my eyes.

"NO!" I shouted. Lexi shouted the same thing and our eyes met for a second before we both turned to Snape.

Lexi stood up and walked over to stand directly in front of Snape, while I walked around to stand beside Lexi. She didn't seem opposed to having me so close to her. We both had our wands ready, Lexi making the first move.

"Expelliarmus!" She shouted. Snape's wand was knocked out of his hand, yet he stayed standing.

"Before you two kill me, you have to know that this was for the best. Hogwarts needed it," Snape spoke in a monotone voice.

"For the best?! What the fuck are you on? This was not for the best! Hogwarts now has no Headmaster and a murderous staff member!" Lexi jabbed her wand towards Snape.

"You will find out eventually what I mean. I am the Half-Blood Prince, after all,"

"You? You wrote the little messages in the textbook?" Lexi was surprised but I didn't even know that her textbook has little messages.

"Severus, you didn't let the little boy kill him like the Dark Lord requested," A familiar and annoying voice said.

"He would never have been able to do it anyway, Bellatrix," Snape replied, eyes still on Lexi and me.

"After I kill this dickhead, I'll kill you, too!" Lexi threatened towards Snape.

"No you won't!" Bellatrix replied, casting Expelliarmus. Lexi was thrown back against the wall and I ran over to help her up. She smiled a small, grateful smile before we turned to notice that Snape had left, the coward that he is.

"We'll meet again sometime," Bellatrix smiled evilly before cackling and disapparating in a black cloud.
