NOOOOOO!
AIDEN!!!
I see Aiden on the floor being attacked by a big wolf, a male werewolf for sure, given his size. I don't stop running until I'm right on the limit of the clearing they're at.
For a second it processes in my brain that this clearing looks familiar. Have I been here before? I don't think so.
Neither of them notices me and I'm at shock seeing this play out in front of me. A dream! I was here once, in a dream.
That time, two wolves were fighting, but I didn't know who was who. Was that a premonition? I'm missing something...
In my dream...yes, in my dream the wolf I pet was injured...don't tell me!
My eyes are fixed on Aiden and I see him getting on his feet and limping, falling backwards. In a second the wolf was on top of him.
Aiden is hurt! I have to stop this, but I fear that if I distract Aiden, the wolf will go for the kill.
I have to distract them both at the same time...
"STOOOP!" I go for the simple and effective way, no time to get creative. They both froze in place. Aiden laying on his back and a big wolf on top of him, the wolf looks at me without blinking.
Wait, in my dream... the wolf kills Aiden and then attacks me. No way in hell I'll let him harm Aiden.
"Aiden! Are you ok?!" I direct my question at him but only glimpse at him from the corner of my eye, trying not to lose the enemy from my line sight.
"Kitten?! Run! It's dangerous!" This guy...he has a fucking wolf on top of him, and I am the one in danger? The wolf growl at Aiden, obviously not pleased with his words.
"No shit, sherlock."
"Kitten, not the time to be a smart ass. Just GO." I'm a trained fighter...why does he keep underestimating me? I'll teach him a lesson once we get home.
"As if I'm going to leave you here, you're hurt." I stared harder at the wolf, "Who the fuck are you? I'm warning you, you don't want to mess with me."
"Kitten..."
"Shut up, Aiden, don't underestimate me."
The wolf steps out of Aiden and start walking towards me. Aiden tries to get on his feet and block him but falls due to his injury.
I don't back down. I am a freaking Alpha and this idiot is nothing. He's scent is familiar tho, kinda of nauseating.
He stops right in front of me, is eyes show surprise at my courage, I won't cower, but I can understand his surprise. He is a big wolf, certainly a high ranker.
"Why are you in my territory?"
He nods to a close by tree, signaling that he's going to shift back, I nod and watch him trot there, without looking away.
Once he's behind the tree I run to Aiden's side.
"Kitten, you have no idea what's going on, you should go." He says this while finally getting back on his feet, although with great effort.
"No way in hell, Aiden."
"Listen-"
Whatever he was going to say was lost when I see who comes out of the tree. I understand now, why Aiden wanted me gone.
I instinctively take a step forward, but Aiden grabs my arm.
"Let. Her. Go." I'm stunned with shock.
