Chapter 8 - First Video

You're editing the first recording Skeppy has ever sent you. It's a few random clips thrown together that were too short for the main channel. Some Skyblock with Technoblade, attempting to troll A6d but him finding out right away and some outtakes from a previous main channel vid. It needs to be perfect. Beyond perfect even.

I really hope he likes what I've done with it, I don't want to disappoint the love of my entire freaking life that I've had an internet crush on for forever. Well, does it count as a real crush now since I actually talk to him? I think so.

You reflect on yesterday's events, where Skeppy called you pretty. Your stomach does cartwheels as you imagine him saying it to you over and over.

Damn, I wish I had been recording.

Skeppy told you to try and make the video around 10 minutes because the YouTube algorithm was favoring that right now. You had never really thought about the algorithm before; on your channel you just record whatever whenever.

The video right now was 9 minutes and 27 seconds long. Too short. But there was still and intro and outro to add on, so that would hopefully get it to 10 minutes.

You start off the intro with a black screen and Arial font as Skeppy always does in his videos.

You send the finished video to Skeppy for approval and decide to look through Twitter while he reviews it.

You spot a top tweet from Skeppy he posted a few hours ago.

You shake your head to clear your racing thoughts while retweeting and liking Skeppy's tweet.

Your phone buzzes in your hands.

It's a call from your little brother.

You answer quickly, excited to talk to him for the first time in a while.

"Hey little bro, what's up?" You ask, curious to why he's calling.

"I heard you're Skeppy's editor now, congrats! Have you watched his stream from earlier?" He asks excitedly.

"His what?" You open your laptop and check Skeppy's channel for a stream. "I don't see anything."

"On twitch! He talked about someone and I think it might be you."

"Okay I'll check. Thanks for letting me know! Byeee!" You end the call with your brother and open twitch, going to Skeppy's profile. The first clip you see is titled "Mystery Love".

Skeppy's voice fills your ears. "Do I have a crush on anyone? Hmm I dunno mayyybe." Skeppy winks at his webcam and the chat goes wild.

"Okay next question." Skeppy scans his chat, looking for more things to answer. "Wow you guys are really interested in who I like. Okay I'll give you a hint."

He looks around his room for ideas for hints to give his viewers. "Uh, what's a good hint. Oh here we go. They have a YouTube channel."

The chat goes wild, but then people begin to realize basically everyone has a YouTube channel so they can watch videos. Skeppy cracks up and almost falls out of his chair.

"Hahahaha suckers!" After reading his chat once more, he decides to give a second hint. "You guys are crazy. Okay here is another one. AND THE LAST ONE. Hexxit." The clip ends there.

Your heart skips a beat. Skeppy told you before he liked your Hexxit videos.

Could it really be me? But tons of people play that, so it's probably not. I'm probably not his type anyways. Don't be stupid y/n.

You notice Skeppy has messaged you and you nervously click, scared he'd say something about his stream.
