As I finished setting the table I hear a knock on the door. I smile and rush over to the door. I open it and see Jamal. I smile and kiss him on the lips.  He smacked my ass and then looked at the table full of food I prepared for him. I made his favorite fried pork chops and collard greens with jiffy cornbread.

"Damn.. what's all this for?" He ask walking over and sitting down at the table. He smiles and start to fill his plate.

"All for you daddy. I know you been being the perfect dad and husband since Seven's daddy died. I just wanted to show you some love." I say rubbing his shoulders. I put his napkin in his lap. I kissed his cheek and sat across from him at the table.

"You like it?" I ask him and he swallowed his food then looked up at me.

"I'm eating it ain't I?" He said rudely. I put my fork down and sat back in my chair.

"Why you always so mean to me? I try to be really good to you are you just disrespect me all the time." I told him and he laughed crossing his arms.

"Because you be acting like you mean something to me. You are just a fuck and that's all you'll ever be to me. So stop trying." He said and I sighed and stood up. Then suddenly I felt like I was gonna explode with anger. I grabbed his plate of food and threw it at him. Then I splashed my drink on him.

"Get the fuck out!" I yelled then walked to my bedroom and locked the door. I sat on my bed and looked at the gift box on my bed. The door slammed and I sigh standing up. I grab the box and put it in a package envelope. I stamped it and addressed it to Seven. I seal it and go into the living room and look out the window holding the envelope in my hand. I see Jamal is gone so I walk outside and put it in the mailbox. I push up the red flag and smile. Payback is a bitch!
