Chapter 20- Dance Studio

{Jacob}

; "I hate you." She said as she stuffed her earphones in her ear and crossed her arms. I only laughed and started the car. She was acting like a child all because she was hypnotized under my charming looks.

Cocky? I think not.

"You acting so childish right now, little Saph angry because she lost in our little game?" I teased.

"Fuck off." She spat and glared at me.

I couldn't tell if she was serious or not but I decided just to leave her alone. Knowing her she'd probably chew my head off if I said anything too her.

{At the studio}

; "Sup guys!" I asked walking in the studio with a big smile on my face.

The boys greeted me with smiles and daps. (PIC OF ALL THE BOYS IN MM)

"What y'all been up too, been a minute since I been in here." I said looking ariund

"Nothing, just sneakin' and geekin' the usual." Ray replied

"Nigga shut yo ass up, we been in this damn studio practicing for this recital." Craig said chucking.

"I see you brought my lil homie, sup Saph?" Chres said giving her a hug.

"Man, nothing much. Just dealing with your childish ass friend over there." She said rolling her eyes at me.

I scoffed, "Um, as I recall you're the one who was acting childish in the car because-"

"ANYWAYS. I'll be over here in the corner while you guys practice or whatever." She said walking past all of us and sticking headphones in her ear.

"What did you do this time bruh?" Craig said smacking the back of my head.

"Ow! Nothing, she just made because I won out little fight."

Out of nowhere, all of them starting laughing.

"What the fuck is so hilarious?" I asked them.

"You?! Winnin' a fight? Bruh ya can't even hurt a fly. Sapphire probably whooped ya ass." Chase said while laughing.

"Hey what's that supposed to mean? I know y'all see these guns." I said flexing my arms.

"Them damn water guns, while you playing." Sapphire semi-yelled from the corner.

"ROASTED." All of the boys said at one time, then doubling over in laughter.

I cut my eyes at Sapphire while she laughed. "Okay, you talking smack now, but let's not forget how weak you was when you was under me."  I said smirking, causing a gasp to come from the guys.

"BRUH, YOU TELLING ME YOU GOT SOME?" Chres said in disbelief.

"SHID I DON'T BLAME HIM LOOK AT THAT AS-"  Ray said before getting cut off.

"Y'all shut the fuck up, acting like y'all ain't got no sense." Craig said shaking his head.

I looked over at Sapphire as she gave me a death stare before walking away. I looked away, half of the time I don't get this girl. When she cracking shots at me, its all fun and games. But if it happens to her, she's as serious as a heart attack.

"Now why you put her business out like that bruh. You wrong fo' that."

"Chase, I'm not in the mood for you playing superman today." I said while chucking.

"Whateva'." He said before leaving.

"Aye, the kids just came in, let's get this practice rolling." Ray said as they walked away.

I looked over to the direction Chase walked away in. More than likely, he's probably going to find Sapphire to go sweet talk her or something. I'd be lying if I said I didn't feel a little jealous, but what am I being jealous for? It's not like I like her or anything... Right?

{Sapphire}

; I stood over by a window in the studio gazing out of it. I couldn't believe Jacob had the balls to say something like that infront of his friends. Even though we didn't do anything but kiss, the way he said it made it seem like something more and I didn't like that.

What makes it worse is that he even said it infront of Chase. He probably thinks I'm some kind of girl who just messes with everybody when that is far from the case. I actually like this guy, and that's the last thing I want him to view me as. Hopefully he didn't look at my any different, and would actually ask before assuming anything.

Now if I wasn't trying to change my attitude and be nicer to him, I would have roasted his ass infront of all his friends. But I decided that it wasn't worth it and I shouldn't even waste my time. All he wants is to get under my skin, and even though he probably meant it as a joke, that's just something you don't say infront of people.

I was so caught up in my thoughts that I barely felt a pair of arms snake around my waist. I looked behind me quickly and discovered it was just Chase. He better be glad I spared his life.

"You should have saw the look on ya' face. It looked like you was finna' kick my ass or somethin'." He said chuckling.

"Well, I was before I realized it was you." I said smiling a little.

"Aye, so that means I'm kinda special right?" He said smirking and letting me go.

"Nah, I wouldn't say that.." I smirked back.

"Yea' right, you know ya' diggin' me don't front." He said winking at me.

I smiled back and could feel my cheeks getting warm. It confused me how he was the only person (beside my parents) that could change my mood in a split moment. Usually I would have told someone off if they were to have touched me when I was frustrated, but with him it was different.

"So, I saw you was a lil' frustrated before, and I decided I should come hang wit cha'." He said smiling at me, "so you wanna ditch this place or what?"

"Yeah, I can't stand being around Jacob for one more second." I said rolling my eyes as we walked out the door.

A/N: Sorry for the short chapter, but if I would have added the extra scene, it would have been absurdly too long. And I didn't know if you guys would get tired of reading the chapter. Anyways,
