Chapter 14- Unexpected

JACOB'S POV

"The engagement dinner, what's that?"

"Well, its a big party that is held at the castle's ballroom and basically, I propose to you officially there. Y'know one knee..ring..all of that jazz."

"Okay.. and when's that?"

"About 3 days from now, so we have some time to prepare what were gonna do and stuff."

"Alright..well we can talk about that tomorrow because its pretty late and I just want some rest." she said getting up and leaving.

Once she left I sighed, "wow I guess i'm really doing this.."

SAPPHIRE'S POV

; As I threw my hair up in a ponytail and getting into bed, I layed there awkwardly..thinking. I can't believe Jacob and I actually came to some sort of compromise. I never thought in a million years that he would actually grow up and be mature about this.

Yet, I still don't know if I'm ready for all of this yet. Marriage, the HONEYMOON, especially the honeymoon.. yeah, of course Jacob was sexy as fuck, but I still don't know him at all and I honestly still don't like him that much either.

As my thoughts faded away from being sleepy, I then thought about one more thing.. my date! I was so excited because it's been such a long time since I've been out on one. I was so anxious that I just decided to fall asleep so I could get the text from Farah tomorrow probably when I wake up.

; I woke up to the sound of my phone dinging and vibrating from notifications. I sat up and rubbed my eyes, squinting at my phone. I had a couple of social network notifications and a couple of messages. I scrolled through my messages and I was surprised to find one of them to be from Chase!

Cutieee: Hey Sapphire, what's up? You wanna hang today? I got a place in mind that we can go to. I really wanna get to know ya' and all, hit me up or text me when you see this.

I smiled a little, aw he wanted to hang with me? I felt a little chill go up my spine and I then I remembered about the date. Fuck. I really wanted to hang with him today, I wonder what time is the date.. I closed his text and opened the one from Farah.

Wifeeyy❤: You remember that guy I was telling you about yesterday? Well I ended up giving him your number and he said he was gonna text you or give you a call..but he told me he was thinking around..7 or 8 tonight?

Hm.. he said he was gonna call or text me, and the only text i received was from Chase. I shrugged, maybe the guy was still sleeping or something. I replied back to her saying that was fine and placed my phone back down. I looked over at the other side of the bed, and it was empty, i guess Jacob didn't sleep up here last night. I got up and brushed my teeth, then going downstairs to find me something to eat.

To my surprise, the table was already occupied by some very delicious looking food. I could feel my mouth watering at just the sight.

"Oh, good morning." I was greeted by Jacob, he smiled at me a little.

"Morning. Um, I didn't you could cook so well.."

He shrugged, "Yeah, well..something like that.. I just wanted to make up for being such a asshole.." He said smiling sheepishly.

I was kind of surprised by his behavior, he was actually being...well, nice. I didn't know if this was still apart of his "plan" or if he was actually being genuine. I assumed it was him just being genuine. But it was gonna take a little more then breakfast to make up what he did.
