It only takes a few hours for the pilotless plane to reach Leipzig, but in that time Peter continues to film - much to the annoyance of Happy as he tries to grab some sleep.
The hotel isn't too far away from Leipzig Airport so we choose to walk through the streets, catching glimpses of street performers and tourist spots as Happy ushers us on.
Peter and I look up in awe when we finally reach the hotel. Not to anyone's surprise, Tony has spared no expense when booking our accomodation, as becomes even more apparent when Happy takes us to our rooms.
"Peter, this is you," he says, gesturing to a door, "and Sophia, you're at the end."
"Oh, we're neighbours?" Peter asks as Happy goes to the door in between our rooms.
"Well, we're not roommates. Suit up, both of you."
I go to speak, but Happy has already disappeared inside his room so I head inside my own, wanting to put together a suitable outfit as soon as possible. Not thinking that I'd be dragged into another Avenger's crisis, I haven't packed anything that could stand up against their powers. The best I can go to is a pair of joggers and a sports top I brought to train in when I reached Matt Murdock.
A knock on the door startles me and I turn to it. "It's me," Happy says. "Are you decent?"
"Yeah," I say, opening the door.
Happy regards me with a strained expression. "What's that?" he asks, gesturing to my outfit.
"It's the best I've got," I reply. "I hardly came prepared for this."
"Where's the case?"
"What case?" I ask, assuming he doesn't mean my suitcase as he walks past it and throws open a part of the suite that I hadn't explored yet. Happy walks on through and thrusts a metal case me which I nearly drop, misjudging the weight of it.
"Put it on. We leave in five."
As he leaves, I flip the locks on the case to reveal a black and white outfit complete with boots and weapons - though I notice that they're only designed to stun. On top lies a little card.
'Thank you - TS'
I chuckle as I put the card aside and start to change. Tony, aware of how uncomfortable Nat's body-tight suit made me, has filled it out with more padding which I assume is also bullet-proof. But it's so light! The material moves easily as I stretch my legs out into the boots that I assume also contains some form of armour.
I go to turn away and meet Happy and Peter, but as I do, notice something at the bottom of the case I hadn't seen before. Narrowing my eyes, I pick what appears to be a pair of glasses.
Slipping them on immediately activates it, and a female voice starts to talk in my ear.
"Good afternoon Sophia."
My mouth falls open before I quickly recover. "Are you an AI?"
"That's right. I'm a prototype AI designed to enhance hand-to-hand combat by predicting your opponent's next move and sending signals to your suit to impulse you to act. I can also act as a functional pair of glasses when you don't need me."
"Bloody hell Stark," I say quietly, before talking back to the AI. "So do you, uh, have a name?"
"I have no name programmed. You may call me whatever you like."
I grimace. I'm terrible at naming things. "What about Cleo?"
"You can call me Cleo if you would like."
"Cool." I breathe, still getting over the weirdness of having my own AI.
"You have a message from Happy Hogan. Message reads: We're leaving."
"Okay, tell him I'm coming," I say, heading towards the door.
Happy and Peter are waiting in the corridor for me when I get there, but Peter is almost unrecognisable in a new super-suit and mask that covers his entire head.
"That's a far call from your old suit," I say, nodding to it with a smile as we set off.
"I know right? It's so cool! And your suit looks amazing!"
I smile my thanks. "So where are we going?"
