August

The hushed roar of the ocean, soothed me, as I lay there beside my best friend Austin.

He smiled down at me, and propped his body up on his elbows.

"Aj?" He asked. I looked at him and smiled "yea?" He looked at the sky and lay down again.

"Don't you ever think about what life would be like if you didn't become famous?" He asked.

I sat up and stared at him, "yea I'd probably be a dork like you" I replied while giggling.

He sat up, "oh you're gonna get it" he laughed.

I shook my head and pushed his face back down lightly, then getting up and running across the sand.

Running towards the water, I jumped in, and swam as fast as I could.

It was cold, but I kept swimming. I heard a splash, then seen bubbles softly float about on top of the water.

I started Swimming up, I needed air. After wiping my face from any water left, I spun around ready for him.

I didn't see him though, so I started to wade out of the water. Just as I spun around, I seen Austin pounce.

"Austinn!" I screamed. "Hahah this is payback! Karmas a bitch!" He yelled. I laughed as he picked me up and ran out of the water.

He set me down on the ground. "What are you doing?" I asked as he laid me back. "Just wait for it" he said all evil like.

Just as I attempted to sit up again, he pushed me back down, and tickled me. I screamed and laughed like an idiot.

He smirked as I tried to push his hands away. "Noo!" I begged in between breaths "please..stop!". He smiled and shook his head.

"Not until you apologize!" He said. I kicked his foot, and grabbed his hand. "Please!" I screamed.

He threw his head back and laughed like a little kid. I took the chance of freedom and yanked his arm, then making him flip.

I chuckled. "Hahah sucker!" I said and stuck my tongue out.

He grinned slightly, then wrapped his hand around my ankle, making me fall on top of him.

"Come on" I said smiling. I just laid there for a bit, while catching my breath.

After a couple of minutes, he looked at me and shrugged, "now what?"

I smirked. "How about the Carnival?" I asked. His face lit up, "let's do this" he answered triumphantly. I laughed as he helped me up off the ground.
