While Meera was running far away from the house, Aryan was trying to put some sense into his father-in-law. "Why don't you realise that Meera was not at fault that day? You don't even know what had happened. And you never tried to know." Saying so, Aryan started recounting the past events.

Meera and Aryan entered a business party, after having successfully escaped numerous reporters. It was their six months anniversary and unknown to Meera, Aryan had planned a surprise for her. But she had to wait for that. Aryan led Meera to some of his business associates and introduced her to them. This was something new for Meera as she was habitual to Aryan leaving her alone in such parties.

An hour later, Meera found herself still standing beside her husband while he continued to greet people. "I am bored, Aryan," she whispered to him. Aryan looked at his watch. His surprise would be ready in two hours. He needed Meera to wait till then. He whispered back, "We can't leave this early, wifey." Meera blushed at the endearment. She could see and feel the change in her husband. Aryan smirked and looked around. "I can see Sapna over there. Join her, you will less bored," he told his wife. Meera nodded and moved away.

Aryan saw his wife walk away from him. She looked heavenly in her black gown. With her orange juice in her hand, she walked gracefully to where Sapna was. Aryan continued looking at her till she disappeared from his sight. Five minutes later he felt a phone vibrate. Meera had left her phone with him and Sapna was calling her. Finding it strange, he answered the call. Sapna was searching for Meera. He cut the call and looked around. At a distance, he saw a man helping Meera climb a stairs. It seemed she was not in her senses.

Aryan rushes towards them. By the time he reached them, Meera was lying on the bed, half unconscious, and the man was hovering over her, his intentions clear. Aryan screamed out loud. The man pushed him and ran away. "Dhruv," Aryan spoke urgently on his phone. He briefed his friend of the situation and walked to Meera. Placing a chaste kiss on her forehead, he pinged Sapna and hurried to the man who dared to hurt his wife.

Aryan looked at his father-in-law and said, "You realise that her drink was spiked. It was never her fault." "And yet you accused her, Dad. You raised finger on her character. She is your daughter. You know her and yet," Rajat spoke to his father. Rakesh Kapoor looked away, his demeanour still the same. Aryan continued speaking, "I had gone away to ensure that he is punished and when I came back, what I found was a letter. I was planning to confess my love to her and just because of you......" Aryan stopped speaking as he noticed Meera entering the house along with Dhruv.

"Aryan," she whispered. He ran to her and engulfed her into a hug. "Were you going to leave me again, Meera?" he asked. Meera shook her head. She showed him her phone. He chuckled and again pulled her into a hug. He looked at Dhruv, who had a teasing smile on his face.

"Will you come with us, Rajat, or will you leave us for your sister?" Rakesh asked his son. Rajat looked at his father aghast. He still blamed Meera for whatever happened. "Dad, Meera is innocent," he said. "Then why did she run away like a criminal?" asked Rakesh. He looked at Rajat in the eyes and asked again, "Her or us? Think and answer, Rajat."

Rajat looked at everyone. Should he choose his sister and leave his parents alone in their old age? Or should he choose his parents and live with the guilt of not supporting the right person?
