Travis stayed lying on his arms for a whole 30 minutes, and all I did was enviously watch as the other pairs worked together and actually got somewhere.
I finally had enough of this, I wasn't about to let some boys lazy ass stop me from passing this project. Never in a million years, have you seen my grades?
I stood up from my desk and walked towards Mr. Gillingham's one, so that I could at least try to convince him to pair me with someone else. He can pair me with anyone in the class, as long as it's not with Travis.
"Um... Hi sir can I ask you a favor", I asked standing in front of his desk trying my best to be as polite as possible, something that I'm very good at.
"No I will not pair u with someone else" he quickly replied, already knowing what I was gonna ask." B-But... Sir" I begged, but he gave me a stern look that made me quit and walk away.
I walked away from his desk feeling so upset and asking myself why me, why did I have to be the one stuck with Travis, what did I ever do to deserve this.
Whilst I was walking back to my desk, I spotted Jazzmen, but she was paired with Bridget ( the paper girl) and they seemed to be having fun. Although I feel very sceptical about Bridget, I shouldn't let that make me fell weird about Jazzmen being partnered with her.
See, I am a very good friend.

I went back to my desk and plopped my self back onto my seat. Travis was still sleeping and it really annoyed me. He is so annoying. I really don't like Travis, I've never liked him and I will never like him.
Travis is the type who only comes to school because they are forced, want to chill with friends and be a nuisance to those who actually want to be here. Like me, I wanna be here. Well, I wanna be here just a little bit, I'm being honest, nobody wants to be at school but we come because we want to pave our futures.
Travis is constantly getting into fights and always getting himself into trouble. He's also very unapproachable, cause he always looks upset.
For all you cliché story lovers, he ain't captain of the football team. Sorry, not sorry. All Travis does after school is go home with a different girl everyday. I honestly feel bad for all those girls, being dickmatized it's not fun.
On the other hand I am totally different. I come to school for a good purpose and I don't spend my time fighting for no reason (unless I really have to).
Basically what I'm trying to say is that Travis and I are totally different people and this is not going to go well at all.

The bell rang and it was finally time to go home. Travis quickly got up and rushed out of the class, he got up so fast it was almost like he never slept.
Jazzmen walked over towards me, "so. How'd it go with Travis?", she asked in an awkward tone. "Girl I don't even know how I'm gonna cope" I answered back, with a deep breathe right behind it.
We then walked outside the class together and Jazzmen couldn't stop telling me how Bridget and her have such a good idea and how they going to visit each others houses and have sooooooooooo much fun. To tell you the truth, I'm kinda jealous but I'm also very happy for her.
"Oh! Sorry girl I wish we could talk longer but I need to leave, my moms here", Jazzmen said, as she spotted her mom's car. Her mom greeted me with a wave, I waved back and watched as they left.
I did not know what else to do, so I decided to just walk around the school grounds, and try find some people to chill with. As I was making my way to the school fields, I spotted Travis flirting with some girl in the hallways.
I then watched from a distance, and yes maybe I looked like a weird stalker but I wasn't stalking, I was thinking. This was the perfect opportunity for me to talk to him about the project, but I didn't want to interrupt.
Who cares this is more important.
I walked towards them, greeted them both and apologised for interrupting, "is it okay if I borrow Travis for a few minutes." I asked the girl, and she was okay with it, but Travis looked so confused.
I put on my smiley face and watched as the girl walked away. Once she was completely gone I turned towards Travis and my smile left my face, and I was more serious.
"Okay, listen here Travis. I am not about to get my grades dropped because some boy who thinks He's the shi doesn't want to cooperate. So that means, you need to start being more serious about life, or at least try be more serious about this project, and put in as much effort as you can, so we can pass. Now I wanna make something clear, and that's the fact that I do not care who you are, who you think u are or how intimidating you wanna be, but I'm getting good marks for this project and you do too." I said with firmly, making him look at me in shock.
"So tomorrow, first thing after school, you and I are gonna meet at the park, and work on this project. Okay?" I said.
"Oh my gosh, that was terrifying" I thought to myself once I finished talking.
Travis was probably furious, and ready to shove me in a locker or something, but I didn't care. As long as I got my message out, I felt great. He then grabbed my arm and pulled me into the janitors store room, he checked the coast and slowly shut the door.
"listen hear... Whatever your name is. I apologise if I did anything wrong, but what u did back there, that was awsome. Nobody has ever spoken to me like that before, so I respect that." He said.
My eyes were wide open and I didn't know how to react to what he just said. "So its tomorrow right after school at the park, right?" He asked and I still needed time to process this.
"Um... Yeah" I murmured in disbelief. I really don't know what's going on.
Travis then left and I was left alone, left wondering what had gotten into him.
Is it just me or did Travis just leave this situation be and go on with his life like I didn't just reprimand him?
