I know... I have so many questions too.

So here's a little Q&A to answer all your questions. Or at least most of them.

• Who is Freddy?

Freddy is one of Travis's friends who does business with him. He plays a somewhat of a big role in the second book... so if u wanna find out more. Stay tuned for book 2

• What business does Travis do, and how did he become so wealthy?

It's pretty obvious that Travis is young and wealthy now, and it's also pretty obvious that what ever he's doing to make his money is very sketchy.

He has an array of business and connections -most of them being illegal-, but what we do know so far is that he is part of the illegal firearms trading sector.

But... if u want more info. Stay tuned for book 2.

• Did Jaylen die after reading the note Travis left?

Idk. Maybe. Have you ever heard of the main character death bail card?

Check out book 2 to find out.

• How did Travis know about the plan to sabotage him.

I don't know. Maybe it'll be in book 2.

Obviously it will.

• Why did Travis have to spread his message by holding Jaylen hostage? Instead of just telling him like a normal person would.

Travis knows that he is weak amongst Jaylen, and that no matter what, he will always have a soft spot for him.

So he fears Jaylen will find that out and use it against him, so he does all these traumatic things as a way to sort of give him this scary out look so that Jaylen never gets to experience his more and vulnerabl soft side.

Also to make him feel like he has power and dominance over Jay.

• Where was Jaylen held hostage?

In Travis's house.

Btw, Travis isn't going to stay there anymore, cause why would he. The cops already know that he stays there.

• Why didn't Jaylen just be truthful and tell Travis that he had a boyfriend from the get go?

Jaylen knew that Travis had problems with controlling his anger, and he knew that Travis wouldn't take the news well, so he was scared of his reaction.

• Why wont Travis move on, and why doesn't he want Jaylen to be around Dandre so bad

(Travis is the literal definition of toxic masculinity.)

He found it hard to move from Jaylen because he still felt strong feelings from when they were still together and refused to allow someone to basically take his person away from him

Travis has that "whatever that I've had is mine, and mine only" mentality, So once it settled in his head that Jaylen wasn't going to go back to him, he did the next best thing.... he forced Jay to stay away from D'andre by manipulating him, (cause he felt threatened by D'andre)

• Why can't Jaylen just except that Travis is a bad guy?

Because Jaylen always sees the good in him, and has so much hope in him.

Plus, Jay is just that type of person.
