Jaylen
A few days had passed and Travis and I became more and more close. We started talking and hanging out frequently, I even found out some interesting things about him.
There were a few days left till prom and I hadn't started planning, but obviously we aren't going to do anything big because I'm still just a sophomore (tenth grade).
I have to meet up with Travis so that we can talk about prom but I cannot find him, so right now I'm just chilling in the library, reading some books. I love reading all types of genre's, but lately I've been reading a lot of romance.
I stood by the book shelve looking for a nice book to read. The library was very empty so I had the freedom to take as many books as I could. Majority of the people here do not like reading so I come here a lot for some peace and quite.
While I was looking for a book I could sense that someone was behind me. I could feel their hands caressing my waist. Of course I knew who it was, it was Travis. I could feel his body getting closer and his lips slowly pecking on my neck and shoulders, and I couldn't help but giggle.
What? It was ticklish.
"So, you like this?" Travis said whilst licking his lips and tensely starring at me. "I don't think we should be doing this here." I said, kinda being a party pooper, but I honestly thought that us making out in a public area was really a bad idea.
"Okay I'll stop, only if you promise me that we'll do this again." He said, making me laugh. He was acting really weird today. I've never seen this side of him. I didn't hate all the touching, but I just felt like I wasn't ready to go that far.
"I can't promise that, but we have much more important things to deal with, like our prom outfits." I said in more serious tone while picking out the book I needed and walking with Travis to the front desk.
We both held hands as we walked to the front desk. The librarian took in my books so that she could scan them and Travis and I continued talking about our plans by the front desk.
"I think we should go sit by the park and talk. We could also catch up on some other things, If you'd like to." I said knowing that I wanted to finally tell him about the moving news. I know Travis won't be happy to hear that I'll be leaving very soon, so I'm a little sceptical, but I'm sure he'll be okay.
We made our way out the library and Travis took my hand and turned me around to face him, then held me by my waist and looked me in the eyes.
"I don't think it'll be possible for us to meet up at the park." Travis said with a sad look on his face and it really worried me. "Why, what's wrong?" I said as I placed my hands around his face.
"We can't go to the park because I'm going to ask you out on a date." He said with a smirk. "Oh my gosh that's so cute." I said, then gave him a giant hug.
