Miitopia: A Ninja's Path

Possession

On the bed inside the tent, was a person who looked a lot like me. In fact, it WAS me. Same hair, same facial features, but different outfit. He was asleep on the bed, and I turned around.

"Is this a joke? Is that me?!" I ask, pointing at the other me in bed.

"It is very much you, but from a different world." Andrea said. "If you would listen to us-."

"No. I don't want to hear about it." I growled, then stomped out of the tent and went to a small hill.

I sat down and tried to calm my mind, but Shadowstorm started talking again.

"Isaac, listen to me."

"Not now."

"I need you to hear me out."

"I said not NOW!" I scream out loud, then throw a shuriken at the ground.

"That person in there. That was my former host."

"Your former host? Me on this world is your host?"

"After the attack on his team, he cast me out of his body to find a more powerful host, one similar to him."

"And since I'm from earth, I'd be the perfect host."

"Precisely. How about you go apologize to Lady Andrea and her sisters?"

"Fair point. All right." I groan.

I walk back to the tent where the other me is, and just when I walk in, I see him, twitching and mumbling in his sleep.

I'm about to call the Fab fairies but then Shadowstorm comes into my head.

"Don't wait for them. You'll know you way around your own brain better than anyone else." he says.

I lay down on the other bed and touch the others me's hand, and I'm blinded by flashing lights, and I awake in red energy landscape. I look around, but the place is empty.

I start walking around when a I see a figure on the ground, not moving.

"Excuse me? Are you alright?" I ask.

The figure looks at me, then dissipates. I start getting some weird flashes in my head.

I walk around more when I see the other me surrounded by red demon looking things with scythes.

"Hey! Leave me alone!" I yell, taking out my swords.

I run and stab the first fiend through the chest, then look at the other me.

"Who are you?"

"Not important. Take this." I say, tossing his my other sword.

"This is a warriors weapon."

"Wrong. Start slashing."

We destroy all the fiends and I realize the other me has all the same moves I do, just a little less air and momentum.

"Thank you. How do we get out of here?"

"You promise you'll be ok with it?" I ask.

He nods and and shock him with red energy, and then we both wake up in the tent. I see the fab fairies, Adam and Austin.

"Isaac? s? Are you alright?" Austin asks.

"Yeah, we're fine." we say in unison.

We both look at each other.

"Hold on, are you me?" The other me asks.

I take off my gi and he gets a good look.

"Yeah, I'm you, Shadowstorm in me as well, but I'm from a different universe." I say.

"That is weird. Hey, you said you have Shadowstorm inside of you?"

"Yeah. He's bonded to my body and mind, and won't let go of me."

"You'll learn to love him."

We talk about the brain fight when we hear a loud explosion.

We get up and all of us run out of the village, to a small hill, when we see an enormous creature, and three UFOs terrorizing the people.

"Let's get in there! Adam, Austin, deal with the fiends! Isaac, you are with me! Andrea! Round up your sisters and take out the UFOs!" I yell.

Everyone nods, and me and my other self run toward the giant gorilla looking creature.

"I've fought one of these before!" the other me said. "It's literally brute force itself!" he says, taking out his dagger and backflipping out of the way of attacks.

"Isaac, give me control, these things are my specialty." Shadowstorm says.

I think about it briefly then respond.

"Fine, no blood drawn, and no killing, only neutralize it."

"Deal."

Suddenly my head gets an enormous headache, and I transform.

My cloak tears and I grow black fur and my two Katanas turn into one big sword, and I have horns and a scar across my eye, but I'm not controlling myself.

Shadowstorm, in my body, or his now, I guess, runs at the creature with incredible speed, and slams his shoulder into its knee, knocking it to the ground.

The monster gets back up and looks around, only to find Shadowstorm on its back. He climbs up to its head and kicks it in the back of the neck, the monster collapsing.

Shadowstorm leaps off the monster, lands on the ground, and transforms back into me.

"Thank you. Without your shape and skill, I wouldn't have been able to defeat that myself." I say.

"No problem. Call when you need me. I'll be around." Shadowstorm's ghostly voice says, then fades.

Adam and Austin run up.

"Isaac? Are you alright? You transformed into some kind of-"

"Don't say monster. My head will literally go crazy if Shadowstorm hears."

"Shadowstorm? Is that his name?" Austin asks.

"Sounds like Blaze, but a much more aggressive version."

The fab fairies walk up to us and put away their weapons.

"Farewell, travelers. What you seek is in Karkaton. We will keep the other Isaac until he is fully healed." Andrea said.

We waved farewell and started the trek toward Karkaton.

"So who exactly is Shadowstorm?" Austin asks.

"Being inside of me, not a parasite, but a legit part of me."

Meanwhile...

(3rd person)

Shadowstorm wakes up in a happy landscape, with people like him trekking around, playing.

"What is this foul place?"

"This is the fun land." another voice says.

Shadowstorm turns around and sees a red humanoid wolf figure, with a green scarf, orange ahoge, and a sword on his back.

"Welcome to my world, Shadowstorm. I am Blaze."

"Adams fursona. I've heard."

"Come, we have much to discuss." Blaze said, gesturing Shadowstorm to follow him.

Shadowstorm shrugs and follows him, not knowing what surprise awaits him.
