World War III. That's what everyone was talking about.
America was under attack from many different terrorist groups and only a small portion of the American army was alive. This left many other men to be drafted while women in the army were sent home so they wouldn't die, many women didn't like the idea but didn't really have a choice.
Thousands of army men were being sent to America from Britain as well, to be stationed in people's home. Again, many people didn't like this decision. No one had a choice whether the military could stay in their house and if they argued they were executed.
Much like the American Revolution, I suppose. But, much, much worse.
