"Really?" Violet interrogated placing a hand on her hip.
"Yup." Ben bit on his lip ring as Violet glared at him. "Does that surprise you?"
Violet shrugged and continued glaring at the older boy.
"Oh so, I was going to ask you a question earlier... is there a reason why someone tried to shoot you?" Ben questioned, examining the younger girl.
"Okay, I forgot I have to take a shower." Violet forced a laugh and proceeded to walk to the bathroom.
"Are you serious right now?" Ben breathed, exasperated.
"Um, yeah, pretty sure." She smiled and closed the door, turning on the shower.
Ben didn't know where the bullet from earlier had gone but he saw the blood and figured the least he could do is clean it up.
Ben kneeled onto the floor, scrubbing viciously at the blood stain when he noticed something carved into the floor board.
Lee.
Ben didn't know why this name made his heart drop, but it did and he felt himself clench his fists as he heard the water in the bathroom turn off.
He stormed to the bathroom as Violet opened the door, ruffling her wet black hair.
"Who the hell is Lee?" Ben fumed.
"Lee was my brother, Ben. What the hell is wrong with you?" Violet snapped. "You know you wonder why people are scared of you but you just lash out and tell at them randomly. You can't do that, Ben! Okay?"
Ben could feel his face heating up as the girl continued to yell at him about how 'horrible his attitude was'.
"Okay" was all he muttered after his lecture seemed to be over.
Violet checked her watch, 10:49 pm.
"I'll show you where you're sleeping." Violet sighed grabbing Ben's wrist.
Violet led Ben down the hall and across from her bedroom was a different bedroom with old bands posters plastered everywhere throughout the room.
"This was Lee's room. You can wear his clothes, okay?" Violet sighed grabbing the doorknob and pulling the door shut.
"Wait, Vi!" Ben exclaimed before the door could be closed. "Thanks." A smile twitched on Violets lips and she nodded again as the door clicked closed.
