When life gives you a lemon, try to make lemonade and chill out in the sun.

I entered the cafeteria and found Soph sitting at our table. I walked up to her and sat down, emptying my lunch. As we don't have any friends, it's just us at lunch. And we like it that way. Since our diaper days, it has always been us. We tried to make friends but they were either too slutty or kept on telling us how they imagined themselves fucking Caleb and asked me about how he was in bed and stuff. Like come on, how would I know that? I wanted to yell Use your brains, folks. Some were good though but they didn't last long because they thought I was too introvert-y. So since then, it was always us and we are happy about it. The only friend that lasted was Alyson Wallace.

I was telling her about the incident between me and Niles when I saw her looking at me wide-eyed. She is so dramatic. Gosh, she is impossible. I rolled my eyes at her and was going to tell her that our encounter didn't mean anything when I realized that she wasn't looking at me. She was gaping at something behind me. I turned to look at what she was looking at but instantly turned back when I saw it. Niles freaking Brown was sauntering directly towards us. Shit, fuck. What the hell is happening right now? I was getting anxious but it increased when I saw Soph still looking. I caught her attention and told her to stop staring. And she quit staring. After a minute, I felt someone tap my shoulder. I turned around and saw Niles. "Yeah?" I asked.

"I was thinking that you both could perhaps join us at our table. You guys are practically sitting alone." He said pointing to their table where I saw Cal laughing silently. It was him who did this. I gave him a glare saying you are so going to get it back. I then turned my attention to Niles. "Um, I am sorry. But in case you haven't noticed we have been sitting here for the last three years and we weren't invisible I guess. And I am incredibly sorry but I am just fine with sitting with her. Sorry." I said sarcasm dripping out.

He chuckled and said, "Okay. But just in case you change your mind, the offer is still up." He said and went back before waving at me and Soph. When he left, I saw Soph glaring at me.

"What?" I asked innocently.

"Chloe Noah Brown, you just rejected to sit with the love of your life. I don't know what to do with you. It was such a perfect chance. You dimwit, you just have to reject it. And with sarcasm, might I add. The next time something like this happens, I swear if you don't say yes, I will cut your ass to pieces and won't even budge to feed it to animals." She said pointing at me.

"Okay fine. And it wasn't such a big deal." I said.

"Big Deal? It was a big deal, Chloe."

"Okay fine. I will say yes. Okay, now calm down."

"Bye, Chloe. Try not to die." Soph said as she dropped me off at my house. I was trying to unlock the door when I felt Cal sling his arm over my shoulder.

"Hey, Lemon."

"Don't even start, because I knew you suggested the thing Niles did," I said.

He tried to control his laughter but ultimately failed. After his laughter died, he spoke, "Anyway, the guys are coming over today so call Soph if you want to hang out there."

"Can't. She is going out."

"Then what are you going to do?"
