3|I murder vegetables and stuff by cooking them.

I shut my laptop and descended the stairs and plopped myself down on the seat beside Cal.

"Hey, Chloe," Lauren said and I flushed immediately remembering the thing Niles said earlier. God. Fucking Hormones.

"Hi," I muttered quietly. And then regaining my composure, I asked, "Dinner?"

"What do you guys want for dinner?" Cal asked everybody. And then a row of any things was heard.

Cal huffed and then asked, "Will pasta work?" Everybody nodded.

"Oh, but White cause you know I can't eat spicy food," Niles said.

"Red pasta is never served in this household because Chloe can't eat spicy food either," Cal said.

"I can't too," Lauren said.

"The boy that came yesterday with us looked just like you, Laure, and you know what, he loved spicy food," Wilson said. I laughed at this when Cal said, "We have the bro code, okay? She is off-limits."

"Okay, pasta it is then. Any special allergies?" I asked. Everybody shook their head and Aaron turned his head towards me, "You can cook?"

"Nope, I murder vegetables and stuff by cooking them," I told them and got up ready to prepare some food.

"Sarcasm, ooh." I heard Wil say. I smiled at his words.

By the time dinner was ready, everybody was in the kitchen. "Guys, everything is set and if you dared to touch the food before I come, I will kill you with my bare hands. I am going to go call Dan." I said and marched towards his room without waiting for them to comment. As I neared his door, I heard a girl's voice. Wait, is he making someone sneak in? Deciding to be a spy and use my skills, I opened the door silently. He had his back faced towards me and he was talking to someone on his laptop. I tiptoed near him and saw that girl. She was pretty but just when I was going to call Dan, she noticed me, "Hi. You must be Chloe." She said.

Dan turned and faced me with a question stared which said-

"Are you eavesdropping?" Yeah, that glare actually said that.

"Nope. I was just checking if my brother made someone sneak in." I said shrugging. And then turned my attention towards that girl. I was about to answer her when Dan told her that they will talk later and he ended the call. "I wanted to talk to her, Dan," I said.

"Is the food ready?" He asked.

"Who was she? Oh my god, was she your girlfriend?" I said ignoring his comment as he did to mine.

"I suppose dinner is ready." He said so and walked to the door, "You coming?" Knowing well not to push the topic any further, I nodded and we went downstairs but I noted in my mind to ask him about her later.

"This is heaven, Chloe. Your cooking skills are definitely much than Cal's." Aaron said.

"Yeah, I hope you would have been our friend rather than Cal. We would have gotten delicious food to eat." Wilson said.

"Can't you give him this talent like you twins do with the stuff?" Niles said. I laughed at Cal rolling his eyes at them and picked up everything as we had eaten. "Thank you, guys. I wish I could give him those abilities but that is not something I could do. I wish. Anyway, when are you guys leaving?"
