We are back to Chloe's POV. Enjoy.

I sang Party in Library as Niles sang Here With Me. As soon as the librarian and the people in the library saw us singing in the worst manner known, I saw the librarian shout, "Guards!" And then she took her phone to call the police probably. My eyes widened and singing was long forgotten. "Angel, Run." But I stood frozen. Oh My God, what if they never let me enter here again? I would never get to read the books I want to. No, no, n-

And suddenly a hand grabbed mine, out of nowhere, and got me running. I looked at the person and saw that it was Niles. Phew. I thought it was a guard.

He signalled me to actually run and I nodded. I started running and we were both speeding to somewhere.

After a few minutes of running, Niles came to a stop and so did I. We were both panting heavily.

"There they are." I heard someone shout. I immediately recognized them as one of the guards. I glanced at Niles and then we ran again.

But this time, as we were running, Niles grabbed my hand and pulled me into something and closed what looked like a door. I looked around and saw that it was a room.

"Oh My God, Niles. That was so damn cool. We are so doing it again."

"Shush, Angel."

I nodded and looked around. It was so small that it looked like a cupboard. Oh wait, it is a cupboard. I looked at Niles leaning on the door. In the dark, he managed to glow. He slowly looked up and suddenly, the intensity increased. I felt him lean in. He was going to kiss me but no matter how much I wanted to, I know it isn't right.

"Don't." He immediately leaned back.

"I ...a.am...so..."

"Don't. It will ruin the moment." He smiled when he got my movie quote. And then after the great moment, my stomach decided to grumble loudly. I blushed in embarrassment. Niles just chuckled. A lot actually.

He nodded and he leaned on the door again to hear whether the guards have left or not.

"Come on, it is safe now." He said after checking.

We then got in the car.

"Which place now?"

"Anywhere. I just want to eat."

He nodded and took off to somewhere which I later came to know was Starbucks.

We sat in a booth after ordering our orders and ate silently not wanting to talk at all and enjoy these delicacies fully.

"I'll pay, Niles. It's fine." I said after seeing that he was taking out his wallet. I took out my wallet and proceeded to take out money when he said, "Don't. It will ruin the moment." He smiled. I chuckled. The cashier gushed, "You guys look so cute together. I wish I had a girlfriend like her."

"We are not a couple," I said. He uttered an oh and sorry. We paid and then proceeded back to the car. I looked at my watch to see it was one-thirty.

"Wedding?" Niles shook his head.

"Surprise." He said before I could ask anything. I groaned.

"Don't do that."

"Huh?"

"That sound," I smirked. But didn't comment. He soon started driving and after half an hour, we arrived somewhere. It was actually a street full of houses.

"Why ar-"

"Follow me." He said and got out of the car. I followed him and he led us to a house. It was a two-storyed white house with brown here and there. He led us through the driveway of the house and opened the door. "I am home, Mom." He yelled. Oh, so this is his home. I took in the surrounding. It was so simple and plain but at the same time breathtaking.

His mom, Eleanor, emerged from the kitchen. And seeing me, she lit up. "Chloe!" She hugged me tightly and I hugged her back. It had been a while since a girl or woman hugged me and I am not letting this pass.

"Are you guys staying for dinner?"

"No, Mom." She nodded and then said, "Make yourself home, Chloe. I am cooking cookies and you have to eat them. Anyway, Aubrey is in her room and call me if you guys need anything." We nodded and then Niles led me to another room upstairs. I guess it is his room. But why would he show me his room? Before we could enter, a girl came running. "Aubrey." I immediately recognized her. She was just as beautiful as Niles described her to be.

"Chloe Brown? The sister of Caleb Brown. Oh my god, am I dreaming?" She said and pinched herself and I giggled.

"Aub, I am real," I said.

"Oh, can I just hug or take a selfie with you?" She asked.

"Aub, she is my best friend and had been since I was seven. Don't you think you will be getting time for that later?" Niles said.

"Oh shoosh, Niles. Let her." I said. And Aubrey squealed and talked to me.

Aubrey then took me to her room and I went laughing at the annoyed expression on Niles' face.

"Okay, spill." She said closing the door so that her brother could not hear.

'Spill what?" She asked in a Soph-Al manner and that surprised me.

"Spill what the heck is going on with you and my stupid brother, Doofus."

"Ouch. One mention you were fangirling over me and then you called me Doofus."

"Leave that. Spill. And don't change the subject." Yep, this was definitely Sophal manner. (Sophie and Al)

"Nothing happened, Aubrey. We are just friends."

"Sure. It looked like it. And tell me the truth because I know something happened. Like for God's sake, he was going to let you into his room. And it is the first time you are here."

"So?"

"Oh, Chloe. He never –"

Okay, I know. Cliffhangers are good but in the mid of a sentence, new.

It is like those movies where a person dies while speaking something but I am alive. So hope you see the next chapter. Haha.

Until then,
Nishi.
