"What?!"

I roll my eyes. "Yes, apparently, our mother's hated each other when we had first met. Can you believe that?" I ask, astonished.

"Well... you did kind of hit me... and it bruised-" she begins.

"That's beside the point!" I exclaim into the phone. "We were best friends and our mothers bet on our virginity!" I say.

"Well it doesn't sound like that big a deal, I mean... now that we're together... we might actually lose it...together," I can feel her blushing and heat rises to my cheeks. Thoughts of me and the blonde invade my mind and all through my head is silk sheets, sweaty bodies pressed together, and tongues. So much tongue.

I shake my head, now feeling awfully dirty. "Yes, I suppose so. But Emma, dear... that wasn't the only bet they made..."

"What else did they bet on?" she asks, her voice shaky.

I snort, "I don't know the specifics... but probably everything." I roll my eyes and smile. I fall on my bed, causing a loud squeak.

"Are you in your room?" She asks.

"Yes... why?" I respond with my brows furrowed.

"Is the door shut?"

"Uh-huh..."

Her voice turns into a seductive whisper. "What are you wearing?" She asks.

My brows furrow as I ponder the blonde's question. "Umm... A pair of red jeans and a white blouse... and my hair is in a messy bun?"

Emma's voice goes soft as she whispers, "Slower..."

It takes me a moment before I realize what she's meaning by her previous statements. "Emma Swan!" I whisper shout into the device pressed against my ear. "You naughty little girl!"

"Mmmm... care to punish me?" she asks innocently.

"This conversation is over until you can learn how to behave Em-ma," I break up her name, knowing what it does to her.

"But you'll punish me later?" she asks once again.

"No!" I end the call and shake my head with a devious smile plastered across my lips. "Oh, Emma," I whisper to no one but myself. How did our friendship blossom into this? A few days ago, we had been nothing but friends and now? Beginning a relationship which I had absolutely no idea where it would lead, and having dirty conversations over the phone after dinner.  Well, Emma was the dirty one, I reminded myself.  Just thinking of the Blonde that way had my stomach doing flips and somersaults. Her blonde curls tangled around my fingers and our bodies separated by only the thin material of silk sheets. I bite my lip to stiffen the sound erupting from my throat.

What am I going to do about this blonde girl who's playing with my heart strings?

*****

I grab my binder out of my locker and shut the door to reveal a tall blonde standing beside me. "Hey," she whispers as I lean against the metal door.

"Hey," I respond and tilt my head to eye her differently. Emma's Black tank top is topped with her signature blue leather jacket. Her jeans are ripped today instead of her skin tight blue jeggings that she normally wears. Odd. And, her hair is straightened instead of curled. "What happened to you?" I ask, raising my eyebrow.

"What do you mean?" she asks, furrowing her eyebrows.

I roll my eyes, "Your hair is straightened, your jeans are ripped, and your boots are black today... what have you done with Emma?" I chuckle as she lightly punches my arm.

"I just wanted to look differently today..." she begins as if she's asking. I look at her quizzically.

"Why?"

"I don't know... for you..." she mumbles.

My eyes widen as I grab her shoulder, "Em, I don't want you to change who you are for me. I love you as you." Her eyes soften and gloss over.

"Really?" she asks, moving a few strands of hair out of her eyes.

I nod and lean my head against the cold metal. Her piercing green eyes staring into my soft brown orbs as she explores my features. A soft smile spreads across her thin pink lips as the first bell rings.

"Well, looks like we must part ways," I say as she winks and continues down the hall backwards.

"Parting is such sweet sorrow," she hollers and I shake my head, trying to hide the smile on my lips.

English. I enter the classroom and begin to walk towards my desk, setting my things on top of the cold surface. Sitting in my seat I look up at the board which reads: Write A Break up Letter. Well, that won't be too hard since I have to write one of those to Daniel soon. I bite my lip as the thought of Daniel enters my mind. The worst part is that he's probably the only half decent guy in this school. But, I didn't really need him right now.

I sigh and grab my composition notebook along with a black inked pen. I begin to scribble down:

Daniel

I scribble over his name as I shake my head. Let's not make this so specific.

I clear my throat and start over.

Look, I don't want you to hate me.

Nice start.

I want you to know that my feelings for you still haven't changed.

That was true.

I still love looking deep into your eyes as you stare into my soul.

Memories of him and I cuddled on the couch, simply looking into each other's eyes  floods my mind.

I still love sitting with you and doing absolutely nothing but loving you.

A smile spreads across my lips as a memory of our very first 'I love you' spreads into my mind.

I still love listening to your laugh, it replays like a song in my mind.

His sweet, syrupy laugh echoes in my ears as my eyes begin to water.

I want you to know that I will always be here for you.

I will forever and always be there for him.

I know that this is sudden.

That's for sure.

But in the end, we wouldn't have worked out anyways.

I have Emma now.

I hope you understand.

God please let him understand.

Love, Regina

My eyes are now filled with tears and I stand from my seat, catching the attention of many students around me. Mr. Humbert looks up at me with a quizzical look but I don't bother to answer the questioning look. Instead, I run out, carrying myself to the bathroom ask weep because of Daniel.
I don't want to lose him, but I can't leave Emma, and that's a problem.
