Y/N knew now that the way forward in their recovery would be hard. Y/N had been through a lot, more than what most would ever dread encountering. They knew that they'd never recover from all of it, but Y/N also knew that their more-than-just-friend Wanda Maximoff and the other Avengers would be by their side. They'd all been through pain, whether it was in the form of injury, grief or regret.
Despite knowing that, Y/N couldn't bring themselves to talk about what happened, yet, they were just too afraid, embarrassed. But Y/N knew it was needed, in order to begin the long road to recovery.
