JADE'S POV..
I take a step through the gates and see all of the happy faces of students and parents. Some greet me and I respond with a simple smile. Graduation day. I finally finished college. The gowns and the hats, oh, it just makes me feel all giddy inside. Perrie promised me she would come visit for graduation. She still lives in California, but she visits me once in awhile, which is great. Sometimes it would be out of the blue, though, which is really annoying. I'll be doing my homework and she barges into the room, almost attacking me with kisses. I mean, I'm not exactly complaining, I love being attacked by her lips, but still.
I take my seat and wait until the ceremony starts. I don't see Perrie for a while, making me wonder on where the hell she is. But I ignore it for a while and look back up at the stage. A teacher stands up behind the podeum and begins to speak.
"Hello there graduatating class of 2018. I'm so happy to be seeing all of the smiling faces that I seem to familiarize," he smiles down at all of us, even waving at a few. "It's been a lovely year and it's good to see all of my students are graduating. So, let's begin."
He begins calling out people's names. I look around for Perrie and there is still no sign of her. Where the hell is she? She promised to be here before my name gets called. I sigh deeply before looking back up at the stage, watching the people walk up there and grab their deplomas. My name is called and I sigh before standing up and waving at everyone, secretly still looking for Perrie. I turn my body and walk up the steps.
Before I can grab my deploma, someone grabs my arm and pulls me the other way. "Wha-"
"Hey," Perrie mumbles, a big smile on her lips.
I look at her in disbelief. What does she think she's doing? This is a graduation ceremony, not the time for a little small talk. "What are you-"
"Trust me," she whispers. Before I can say anything, she turns to the crowd of people. "Hello, ladies and gentlemen. This woman right here is my girlfriend. We've been together since senior year in high school. But I've loved her since kindergarten. And I plan on loving her until I die."
"Perrie-"
"I've been asking her to marry me for months and all I've gotten was a, 'I'm sorry, not yet, I'm in school'. But guess what. She's not in school anymore," she says before turning to me. I try to say something but she slowly gets down on one knee, making me shut up in disbelief. "Jadelyn Amelia Thirlwall. I have loved you since the monent you stole my crayons in kindergarten and I will love you until we both die of old age. I want to spend the rest of my stupid life with you. So, baby. Will you do the honors of marrying me?"
I feel the tears brim in my eyes. I hear the overwhelming sound of people yelling 'aw' and I smile at the noise. I nod my head violently, "Yes, yes, I will."
She smiles brightly up at me and gets up, hugging me tightly. People cheer and clap but I block it out, only focusing on the blonde girl who will soon be my wife hugging me. She pulls away and grabs a black box. She opens it and places the diamond ring onto my ring finger, smiling widely at me. "I love you so much," she mumbles, her voice shaky.
I smile weakly and whisper shakily, "I love you too. So fucking much. And I can't wait to spend my stupid, idiotic life with you."
