After the bell rang for everyone to go home Ian picked up his stuff shoving his stuff in his bag mindlessly until he felt a light tap in his shoulder.

"Hey."

It was Aiden Warren. Aiden fucking Warren.

"...hey." Ian responded not really sure what to say since he's barely spoken two words with the boy.

"My names Aiden." Aiden greeted extending his hand. Ian just stood there internally freaking out cause he's had a crush on him since he was a sophomore. "I,I kn-ow." He stammered.

"What?"

Ian quickly regained his composure because even though he had a crush he didn't want to seem uncool. "I know, my names Ian." He said grabbing Aidens hand and shaking it.

"I know this is blunt but I think your hot," Aiden said. Ian just stared not knowing if he should respond but then Aiden continued. "And I was wondering if you would wanna see a movie with me?"

Ian continued staring until kind and of in shock.He was supposed to meet Mickey and Mandy later to hang but they wouldn't care if he skipped this one time. Right?

"Uh um, Yea I would." Aiden smiled and gave a  small scrap of paper with his number to Ian. "Text me when your free." He said and walked out the door.

Mickey waited around the bottom of the school steps like he usually did For Ian.

He waited and he waited searching for the familiar redhead in the mix of students pouring out of the school doors.

He didn't see him and thought maybe he just got caught up talking to a teacher or some shit. Mickey got that weird feeling in the bottom of his stomach again when he saw Mandy walking out with no Ian behind her.

"Hey Mandy you see Ian?" He asked when she walked over.

"I thought he was with you."

"I haven't seen him I thought he'd be with you." He replied. The two Milkoviches  looked around one last time for their friend but didn't see him with last few kids walking out of the doubles doors of the school.

"Well I guess he's not coming, probably got had an emergency or something and had to bail. He'll probably text later." Mandy said and walked off. Mickey couldn't help but feel a little disappointed that Ian wasn't coming but he probably did have something important to do would text later cause he wouldn't just bail.

"You comin Mick?" Mandy called halfway across the parking lot. "Yea.." he mumbled and walked off with her to go home.

Ian ended up texting Aiden right after school. Aiden replied almost instantly and said they could meet up at the movies later and get some popcorn.

He practically ran home to get all his homework done so he didn't have to worry about it later and get ready for his date.

"What's got you so happy?"

Ian jumped he but calmed when he turned and saw his sister Fiona.
"Oh, I just have a date later." He replied looking through this clothes for a shirt.He tried to keep a straight face because but inside it was a mix of nervousness and joy.

"Since when do have dates?" She asked with a confused look on her face. "Since I was asked on one."

"Ok then you have fun." She smiled and turned to walk back out to the hallway. She was halfway out the door when peeked her head back through. "Just don't knock anyone up."She laughed and walked out

"Funny." He laughed and continued sorting through this clothes for a shirt.
