The door was closed as Mickey approached it. He was still kinda nervous but mentally slapped him self for that. Milkoviches don't get nervous. He twisted the knob and slowly pushed the door in. Ian was curled up into a ball facing the wall with a blanket on him. He walked bit closer to the bed  until he heard a quiet mumble. "Go away Mandy,Fiona, or whoever the fuck you are." Ian's voice was groggy like a really bad hangover.

"Not a chick and I'm 
not leaving." Mickey said and shrugged off his coat. Ian turned around and looked up. His eyes were red and puffy, like he'd been crying.  "Mickey...?"

"Hey fire crotch." Mickey crouched down until he was face to face with Ian. "Heard you weren't feeling too good." Ian didn't answer. Mickey had never seen him like this and the family meeting downstairs probably meant they haven't either. Ian's head and a hand were the only part of him Mickey could see, the rest of him was wrapped tight with a blanket.

Silence filled the room as Mickey didn't know what to say. Ever since the party he'd tried to forget about what happened with Ian. And what happened after with Aiden. He wasn't gay but when Ian kissed him he felt something. Something he'd never felt with any girl. But this was his best friend, and his best friend was hurting.

Mickey pushed his thoughts out and concentrated on Ian. He didn't know what was wrong with Ian and how he could even help. But he'd damn well try. Mickey sighed grabbed Ian's hand. "Move over dummy."

Ian did as told and scooted over to the wall. Mickey climbed into the space next to him and pulled the cover over him too. He still had Ian's hand so he pulled him closer. Ian buried his head in Mickeys chest and closed his eyes. Mickey sighed and wrapped his arm around the red heads waist. "I don't know what the hell is wrong, but I promise I'll make it better."

Mickey didn't know if Ian had heard him. But he knew that he'd keep that promise, no matter what.

Little did he know Ian heard every word and smiled just a bit.
