The next morning I wake up completely confused. That is until I take a look around and gather my surroundings. I'm still in the room where we celebrated Sabrina's birthday. Rowan left a little early since she had to go to work this morning and the guys left a few hours after whilst Sabrina's friends retreated back to their hotel a few at a time.
Sabrina and I ended up being the last ones. At the end of the night we were just sat on the floor talking. It felt nice being alone with her instead of being surrounded by everyone. After taking one glance at the room I started cleaning up a little, picking up the red solo cups that fell onto the floor along with tissues and a bunch of other things.
Sabrina and I argued for a while. She didn't want me to clean up. She kept saying that I was a guest and the last thing she wanted me to do was work. Of course I was being stubborn and didn't listen to her. When she noticed that I wasn't going to stop she started helping me out but she got tired pretty quickly and as she was cleaning the couch she fell asleep. I must've fallen asleep too since I'm still here.
I look back at the other couch, the one she fell asleep in and smile when I notice that she's still fast asleep snuggling the blanket I put over her.
I stretch my arms causing a few cracks to be heard. This couch isn't as comfortable as it looks. I run my fingers through my messy hair and take a deep breath before getting up. I look around and notice a few things that still need to be cleaned. I pad over to the table and start putting things into the trash, cleaning the last few things we left last night.
"You aren't seriously still cleaning?" My heart skips a beat at the voice of her voice. It's a little raspy since she just woke up but it makes her even cuter. I turn around to face her and chuckle. She sitting down and rubbing the sleep out of her eyes. Her makeup is a little smudged and her hair is a little messy but she still looks perfect.
"Good morning Sab" I smile and pad over to her. "Morning" she mumbles before a small yawn tumbles from her mouth. "You know you really didn't have to clean up" she reminds me. "I know but I feel bad leaving a mess behind" she smiles and taps the space next to her.
I take it as a sign that she wants me to sit there so I oblige. "Did you have a good birthday yesterday?" She nods and gently lays her head on my shoulder. "Mhm" she hums in response "I got to dance with you and my friends, along with urs too. I ate some cake. It was a good night" she sighs happily.
"I'm sorry I kept you here" she lifts her head and furrows her brows. "What do you mean?" She asks confused. I shrug and glance down, "If I didn't start cleaning up you would've been asleep in your hotel room but instead your dealing with me" she rolls her eyes and takes my hand in hers.
"For some reason I quite frankly enjoy having to deal with you" she admits causing me to look back up at her. "You have literally nothing to apologise for" she kisses my cheek and let's go of my hand as she stands up. "But I am thirsty" she admits as she pads over to a table where the drinks from last night are.
"Do you have anything to do this morning?" I ask curiously. "Nop" she quips as she pours herself some water into one of the unused red plastic cup. "Do you want some water?" She turns her head to look at me, I nod and she smiles turning back around to pour me a cup. "Can I take you out for breakfast then?" She nods "Sure" she agrees. She takes both cups and turns around to walk back towards me and that's when I notices her blushing cheeks.
"Why thank you" I grin as she hands me my cup, "My pleasure." We both take a sip and hum in delight at the same time. Sabrina giggles and gazes at me with a wide smile. "What?" I laugh. She shakes her head "Nothing." She bites down on her bottom lip trying to stifle her smile as I keep eyeing her.
