Fern's POV
I flew for a long time. I passed dozens of houses and building. Roads upon landscapes. This led me to the city of Auburn. It wasn't too far from Seattle. I decided to land in a small field where hopefully no one would be watching, then used the magic bracelet Tsubaki gave me to shrink my wings and ears. I adjusted my satchel, and set off towards the town.
Tsubaki's POV
I followed Fern to Auburn, the sun was starting to reach a peak in the shy, and I was hungry and tired. I almost lost her, but then noticed she landed in a nearby field. Not wanting her to notice me, I dropped out of the sky, until I was about ten feet away from the ground, then landed. I made sure to be as quiet as possible.
I saw her use the magic bracelet is gave her. After this, Fern set off towards the cityscape and I silently followed her, quiet as a ghost.
Anisa's POV
Adam came back inside, a smile on his face.
"Who wants to go to the airport?" He asked. Ian looked bored and got up from the couch.
"Not again," He said.
"What?" Mitch asked.
"Has anyone seen my phone?" Immediately everyone got up from the couches and started brushing the pillows and cushions. I got up, there was something on the floor. I picked it up, it looked like a phone so my hand darted into the air.
"I think I got it!" Ian came over and inspected it, turns out it was his. I gave it to him, and walked up to Adam as everyone was settling down.
"Who called you?" I asked, pretty strait forward.
"Alesa."
"Who's Alesa?"
"Well," He paused. "she's my girlfriend."
Girlfriend?? What? Wait, oh no. No no no no no no no! Fern is going to be pissed. I have to talk to her. I took off towards the stairs.
"Anisa?" Jason called. "Where are you going?"
"Just, er, forgot something!" I flew up the steps literally and bashed into Fern's room. I scanned the room and quickly realized the only thing moving was the silk drapes, which led to a wide open window.
"No no no NO!" I shouted, I could hear boys coming upstairs as I shuffled through Ferns room, looking all around for her.
"What's wrong?" Jason asked, clueless.
"Don't you realize?" I said panicked. "She's gone!"
