Kidnapped

Fern's POV

After the 'treatments', I was thrown into my cell again. I started to cry.

"What did you do to me?!" I asked. The guard just chuckled.

"You will find out soon enough." he said. The guard was still laughing, and walked away. I tried to look at my self in the mirror, but as soon as I looked, the mirror broke.

"What the hay?" I said sniffling. So I just started to look at my legs. They seemed normal. But I looked at my arms to find that they had replaced my fingernails with cat claws. It hurt when I touched them. I tried to look over my shoulder to see if they had put anything on my back. At first it looked like just a shadow, but then I realized they had put bat wings on me, but had enlarged them to fit a girl my age. Since I was 18 years old, they seemed pretty big. I tried to look in the broken mirror again, and noticed something on top of my head. Instead of regular human ears, I had dog ears. And, some type of horn in the middle of my forehead. They had replaced my beautiful emerald eyes with ender eyes. I started to cry. After I realized what they did to me, a guard came inside my cell. He pumped some weird looking liquid in my neck, and I passed out, my head falling roughly on the cold stone floor.

I was playing around with my claws, scratching the wall of my cell and such, when I heard screaming. I guess they found another test subject to torture. I peered through the iron bars of my cell to see they were throwing a boy, no, a guy into the cell across from me. He was yelling words I couldn't make out, and they locked his door and left. When he saw me, he started to calm down, probably realizing what a freak I am. I hid my face and turned around.

Adam's POV

I woke up in the box, but this time I was not in a car. I tried to peek through the space between the boards, and I realized I was being wheeled on a cart. The people who kidnapped me were opening the lid to let me out of the box.

"What the hell was that!?" I yell at them.

"Shut up kid, and we won't punish you that bad."

"What are you punishing me for?!" I ask.

"Look! we just needed another test subject, no more QUESTIONS!" with that he punched me in the face and put my hands behind my back.

"LET ME GO!!" I yelled as he pushed me into a cell. He locked the door, and walked away. I looked at my surroundings. Across from me in a cell similar to mine, was a girl. But this was no normal teenage girl, this girl had bat wings, and cat claws, and dog ears. She also had some sort of horn in the middle of her forehead. When she noticed me looking at her, and she turned around.
