"You're late," the Lucifers said in unison as the head of the Water Wolf pack walked in with Channing. "And I'm hungry!" Lucy piped up at the end.

"We fed you the magician though-" Channing said as he started to strip while the Water Wolf turned to look unblinking at Luke and Derek, still standing in front of the room, near where the thrones were up several steps on their own platform. There was a Pit and the Pendulum feel to the place and no way of even seeing where and how the gray corridors ended. How they were connected. You could think of MC Escher but if it was demonic and made you nauseous when you tried to look out to the horizon line.

Channing stood before the Lucifers, naked now, and knelt.

"What do your majesties desire?"

"I'm hungry!" Lucy said again, sounding petulant. "You'll do."

He extended his arm from where he sat as though it was a vine. His fingers caged Channing's head and Channing's whole body shivered. There was a great sound of bone and soul moving through flesh. An indescribable, horrifying sound. A sound that would give the creation of a horcrux a run for its money and which no one whose heard it has a word for. It is a sound of something not only wrong but indefensibly so.

And then the sound of Lucy chewing and the arm detracting to a more usual place.

"All better!" Lucy said, sounding like a proud and satiated five year old.

Channing's skin and remaining flesh plopped before the thrones into nothingness. Luke turned away to give his brain a moment to recalculate so he didn't literally scream himself to death.

"Is that what they're gonna do to us?" Derek asked low, buried in Luke's chest as though he weren't the taller of the two.

"Oh no pup. You wish-" middle Lucifer answered, hearing even Derek's voice low and from far away. His throne was beginning to dip in the middle from the secretions hitting the stone.

Derek's head popped out alongside Luke's chest as if to look at them but his eyes fitted on Roger, who stood there as a statue.

"Why is Roger here?"

"He's come to collect you pup," middle Lucifer said.

"Collect me?"

Roger nodded solemnly and then opened his mouth, but the voice came out to deep. Like an old school victrola player.

"You will come home now Water Wolf."

"But I didn't mean it when I joined your pack! I knew you were doing something wrong. It's the law of false dichotomy!"

"Still, you signed. You have the insignia on your body. You must come." Roger's hand moved stiffly up and forwards until it pointed at Derek.

"I won't do! I won't do it Luke!"

Middle Lucifer chuckled. "Oh poor love sick puppy. Don't worry, we're not going to murder your friend right away. But if you don't go- you'll burn up from the inside out with unquenchable fire water from the river Styx. It's that simple. Or do you not love your vampire enough? Would you rather he suffer by watching you die horribly right here and now?"

Derek whined and Luke turned to look at him. He cupped the wolf's chin.

"Go, alright."

A tear rolled down Derek's treat.

"I don't want to watch you die, love. We'll be okay. Nothing is forever."

Derek opened up his mouth to speak and only tiny noises came out. He was still crying as he walked away. Once he got to Roger, Roger shoved his back hard- flinging him forward. He turned his head back to look at Luke one last time only to feel Roger push him once more- into the darkness of an unseen hallway and away from the room of demons.

Luke just turned and looked at the Lucifers, staring blankly.

"So what is it? What's my crime? What's my punishment?"

"Who says you have to be guilty of something to be punished?" middle Lucifer asked, managing to sound both bored and excited at the same time.

"You should've stayed where you belonged vampire. You could've been an excellent child of the night. Now you're just going to die a child." Tom Lucifer piped in, smile so wide his teeth almost ground against each other.

"What if I refuse to obey?"

"You won't."

"I won't?"

Tom was out of his throne in an instant, flinging himself in the air. He stood in front of Luke. Too quickly for Luke to even react. Tom's strength was super human, clutching Luke's wrist and forcing Luke's hand to Tom's obvious bulge.

"You're going to wish for death. But death will not come. Your punishment will be a pain that you can barely fathom. Curiosity? Should've died with your first grave. I would wish you luck but luck means nothing down here."

Tom smirked and then began bewitching Luke through a gaze. Luke tried to fight but found his will slipping. Who is a vampire to fend off the advances of a demon?
