Seenzoned
November 3, 2014For hours, I've been trying to think this through
Whether I would or would not tell my greetings to you
It seems pointless to stare at a screen of color blue
But damn, I don't know if you're going to say 'hi' to me, too! With crazy palpitations in my chest
I didn't notice how the 'enter' button got pressed
I shrieked and screamed in horrible protest
As the screen flashed, 'Hi! I like you, you're the best!'My eyes widened in shock
I cursed and screamed, "Oh, fvck!"
I threw things to wherever it would get stuck
I said, "Let me rot and die in filthy junk!"In utter confusion, I walked to and fro
Palms all sweaty
"To the North Pole I'll go!"An erratic surge of electricity passed through my spine
With a dropped jaw, I muttered, "This is not fine!"
There I saw something horrible
'Seen at 11:56 AM' flashed right below my sent line!I bit my lip in undeniable disgust
I can't believe it!
Is this a sign of utter bad luck?Beneath the white sheets of my bed, I hid
Trying to forget the deadly comical skit!
But my mind was preoccupied with loathsome thoughts
The people in my head endlessly fought"How can I show myself to him?"
I am plainly in a life-risking brim
"I'm going to undergo plastic surgery,
At least it'll try to hide my stupidity."My phone rang and I froze
"Who would try to call me at twelve o' two?"
I took the call, eyes still closed
Then the other line said, "Hi, I like you, too."
