All That I Want

All that I want is to be happy
To ignore everything and smile
All I want is to be numb from the pain
Because I know it will be worthwhile

It has never been easy
To pretend that everything is okay
Because when you feel like crying
Your act will eventually slip away

Pain is glued in this chest of mine
It craves to be my best friend
No matter how tired I am of crying
Unfortunately, this just won't end
