The crystal in my hand glowed. My hand started to burn so I dropped the crystal. It started to melt through the floor so I kicked it to the door. Josh came down and tackled me. I kicked the crystal out of the door and it exploded, Josh screamed as his coat melted from the heat of the explosion. The room went dark and the explosion ended. I got up and ran to the kitchen. I grabbed bottles and filled them with water. Lloyd was with Josh. I brought the water in and Lloyd to,d me to poor it down Josh's back while he peeled it off him before it dried. I chucked Lloyd some oven mitts and kneeled down. Lloyd gestured for me to start the pouring. Josh screamed as the melted leather was pulled off of his back. Lloyd was halfway down when we saw blood. Then lots off it. "I have to pull this off or he will lose a lot more skin!" Lloyd shouted. I continued pouring until I ran out of water. Eva brought down some bandages and got ready to heal Josh. "Done!" Lloyd said, discarding the leather. He pulled the mist off and started to wipe off the blood on Josh's back. Before the blood could start flowing again, a Eva pressed her hands against the wound and beads of sweat appeared on her face. The blood flow slowed and stopped. The skin began to heal slowly and Josh passed out. "He'll be ok" Eva said when the wound was completely sealed up. I sat back and let out a huge breath that I didn't realise I was holding. He would be ok. I wondered about the crystal. Josh was trying to protect me, how did he know that the crystal was going to explode. That's when I looked outside. The crystal had not exploded, it had simply given off a heatwave. And standing next to the crystal was the one and only, Thomas. I rose to my feet and my guns came flying down the stairs to my hands. Thomas stared at me and smirked. "You're gonna die Leo. It's going to be very painful. And it's going to be amazing" Thomas said. "In your dreams" I replied and sent a car hurtling through the air to him. He sidestepped and the car missed him by a centimetre. A sword appeared through Thomas's chest and his eyes went wide. A girl was standing behind him with a katana in her hands. The katana was buried through Thomas's heart and blood splattered everywhere. Thomas's hand melted into a sharp object and I shouted "watch out!". The girl got the message and twisted. The sword cut through Thomas's flesh and came out on the right of his body. He frowned and sighed. The gash sealed up and he turned around. The girl was frozen to the spot with shock and fear. I raised my gun to head level and fired an entire clip into the boy who I wanted to permanently kill. Thomas's head was no more, but he was still standing. His face began to regrow and his mouth twisted into a smile when it reformed. "Don't you understand? I cannot be killed" Thomas said wickedly. The girl brought her sword up in a defensive position. WHOOSH! A rocket flew from above me into Thomas. He was blown to smithereens and all that was left was ashes. I grabbed a match from my pocket and lit a small survival guide that I kept just in case. I put it on the ashes and it burnt away. The girl kicked at the ashes so that Thomas couldn't reform. That's when the aliens started to fire their guns at us. The girl drew a gun and turned around. I raised my eyebrows, this girl was impressive. Mike ran out with an arsenal of weapons. Zac jumped off the roof and grabbed a pair of binoculars. "About 200 aliens approaching us from the east" he reported and chuck the binoculars at me. I let them fall to the ground and grabbed a couple of weapons. A knife belt was already around my waist and I strapped guns to it. Zac was already charging into battle with the girl and Mike was frowning. "Where did she come from?". "Dunno". I run into the garage and start up the car. Mike jumps into the passenger seat and loads a gun. "Let's shoot some aliens" he says and aims his gun at an alien. The gun chatters away as he sends bullets whizzing into aliens. I floor the accelerator and shoot at some aliens. An alien jumps onto the car and I knife it open. The green blood splatters me as I punch the dead alien off the car. I hit the brakes as we come out of the horde and the car goes sideways. I turn the steering wheel right and we skid backwards to a halt. I jump out of the car and sprint to the fight. Zac is punching his way through a group on aliens and the girl is cutting aliens in half with each swing. I charge at an alien and stab it through the chest with a knife. I bring my knife up and reach the bottom of the skull. My knife comes out of the side of its neck. The guts of the alien splatter me and I jump back. Two aliens were running at me, guns blazing. My I pulled out my guns and fired them in sync at the approaching aliens. They fell to the floor with holes in their heads. Mike came up behind me, splattered in blood. "What happened?" I ask. "The girl was cut open. Zac needs to be defended while he carries her inside to Lloyd" mike says quickly and runs off. He gestures for me to follow him and we cut our way through the aliens. The girl is lying in a pool of blood and fighting with consciousness. Zac sees us and picks her up. Mike lays a hand on his arm and Zac seems to get a message. He hands her to Mike and Mike runs off in the direction of the house. We back him up and shoot at aliens. My knife blurs as I decap alien after alien. The girls katana drops out of her hand and I pick it up. I test the weight of it in my hand and take a swing at an alien. It's head flies off and hits another alien. I hear evil laughing and turn around. Thomas stands behind me with two katanas in his hands. I close my eyes and concentrate. The aliens all around us and Mike fly backwards and collapse. Thomas raises his swords at me and begins to circle me. I raise my sword and begin to circle as well. Thomas leaps at me and tries to cut me down the middle with both of his swords. I bring my sword up and block it with all my strength. His face starts sweating as I push him back with one last push. I backflip away from him and rebound off an alien. My katana buries a hole through Thomas's chest and I use the opportunity to use my telepathic powers to rip him apart. I shove a grenade into his mouth and kick him in the head. The grenade goes off and his body rips apart with a sickening tear. I feel my body heat up dramatically and my hands begin to glow blue. Zac comes up behind me and I launch him up into the air. He gets the message and fires a rocket at Thomas's remains. I move the particles apart with my mind and disperse them miles away from each other. Zac lands beside me unhurt and smiles. I high five him and hug him. "Thanks bro". He rolls his eyes and says "it's ok". We turn around and aliens begin dropping like flies. Then they all suddenly disappear. That's weird. Zac is equally confused. I shrug and run back to the house. The girl has been stitched up and is now peacefully sleeping on the table. Mike is sleeping in a chair at the end of the room. Eva wraps her arms around me and kisses me. I pick her up and hold her in my arms. I look into her eyes and smile into the kiss. She is being mischievous. I pull away from the kiss and she holds up a mirror. I have lipstick on my lips. "Thanks Eva" I say sarcastically and roll my eyes. Zac laughs at me as he enters the room and Taylor bites her lip. Zac has lipstick all over his face. Everyone stares at Zac and he realises what has happened. We all laugh as he frantically tried to wash it off but fails since its waterproof lipstick. Lol. A shadow comes over the house. I look outside and Eva gasps. A huge high-tech plane is hovering over the house. Guys in full blown body armour and enough guns to pass as people from fps games, slide down ropes from the plane. "Where here to take you back to civilisation. A guy yells over the sound of the plane. Josh walks down the stairs and sees the guys. He smiles and runs outside. "Dude! I haven't seen you in Years!" He yells. The guy smiles and hugs Josh. "We need to evac this whole house now!" Another guy yells and runs up to the house. Eva runs upstairs and gets boxes. The next few minutes involve grabbing all of the stuff that we think is important and shoving it into the boxes. I grab my picture and some stuff from Lucy's room. Jeremy and Lucy run in with heaps of stuff. Mia walks down with Peter and Charlotte. Zac packs down all of the dj stuff and shoves it into the box. We carry it all out and a platform is waiting for us. We all get onto it and it begins to rise. I realise that Mike has brought all of the guns. Smart. When we get up to the plane we are showed some rooms to place our stuff in and have a rest. We spend the next few hours checking we have everything. After checking it about ten times, we finally decide we have everything. Eva falls asleep on a bed and I lay down next to her. I didn't know what was going on, but it was going to be very different to what we were experiencing before.
Hi! I finally got this chapter up! Anyways...as you can probably tell, the story is about to end. Don't lose faith in me yet! I want to make the ending as good as possible.
