That thing she said about today being a bad day? She takes it back. Today was a memorable day.
After a seemingly long drive, they finally arrived at Aga's house. She looked at him on the passenger seat, napping like a baby.
Back when they were dating, she loved it when they watched movies together. Aga always ends up sleeping, and she likes it because she can then trace his face without him whining. She'll spend hours staring at his face, memorizing his every feature, not minding the movie playing in front of her anymore.
It was like a flashback to one of those nights. Him sleeping, her staring at him like he's going to be gone any second.
" Just once, Aga. Can you not be this handsome? " she asked him, whispering. She reached for his hair, feeling every soft strand, the same hair that she played with all those nights years ago. " Ags? Gising ka na. " she said, slowly touching his left cheek. How on earth could she be filled with so much desire to touch every part of his face? " Must be the wine. " she told herself. Yeah, right.
After a few more nudges, Aga finally woke up.
" Hey. " she greeted. " Good morning, sleeping beauty. "
He smiled in return. " I needed that nap, thanks Lei. "
They both stepped out of the car and made their way to the compartment, where to grocery bags were.
" What time did you wake up ba kasi? " she asked, curious as to why he was so sleepy. " I thought you got used to staying up late. "
" I'm not like you, night owl. " Aga answered, walking ahead of her, so that he could open the door.
" Hey, my sleeping schedule's messed up, so what? I can still get up early. "
She noticed that he was having a hard time reaching for the keys. She approached him and tried to take away one of the bags that he was holding. " Give me, so you can open the door easily. "
He refused, and told her to get the key from his pocket instead, which resulted to another slap on his arm. " Ouch! Lea naman eh. "
" 'Yang mga suggestion mo kasi. Nakakahalata na ako ha? "
" Just get it from my pocket, Salonga. Wala ka namang ibang mahahawakan dyan. " He said with a naughty grin. " Unless you want to... "
" What the hell? " she said, irritated. " Do you kiss your mother with that mouth? "
" Dali na kasi! " he insisted. " Wala namang malisya! "
He was right, though. It wasn't a big deal. It's not like they haven't done things way more private than that.
" Fine. " she said, defeat evident in her tone. " Just for the record, you're a jerk. "
He laughed in response. " For the record, I kissed you with this mouth. "
" And an idiot. " she hissed, not paying attention to what he said.
He just stood there, clearly amused by her reaction. She closed her eyes and mumbled a few curses before reaching for his pocket.
" Be careful, Lea. " Aga teased. It took all her willpower to not pinch his leg. " Ang tagal naman! Iba na ata 'yan eh. "
She grinned widely, then touched his inner leg, her hand still in his pocket.
