First day of the plan, and the whole thing almost blew up. Luckily, Dawn had a plan B.
Plan A was for Aga to leave early the next morning, before Lea wakes up. He would just leave a note, telling her he needed to go to another meeting for his next movie. It was a good plan, but it was immediately a failure, as Lea woke up hours before he did.
Richard and Dawn were surprised to see Lea awake at 6 in the morning. They weren't expecting anyone to wake up until at least 8, or if they were to base it on their drunkenness, 10 am, the latest.
Dawn immediately replaced the surprised look on her face with a small smile.
" Hey, babe. How was your sleep? "
" Sobrang sakit ng ulo ko, " Lea admitted. She went over to the kitchen counter and sat in front of them. " I forgot, how did I get to my bed? I distinctly remember being in the guest room, comforting you, then... " she placed her hand on her forehead, as if trying to remember what happened. She frowned. " That's it. Wala na akong maalala. "
" Aga carried you to your room, " Richard answered. " He bumped his head several times trying to get you to stay on the bed, you know. "
" Oh God, how drunk was I last night? "
Richard laughed, then stood up, and told them that he would make breakfast, to lessen the pain of hangover. " What do you want to eat, Lei? "
" Anything that doesn't have alcohol in it, please. "
He shook his head, knowing just how a pain in the ass a hangover is. He turned to Dawn, who was sipping her tea, watching Lea like a hawk. " Ikaw, love, anong gusto mong kainin? "
" Something salty, Gomz, " Dawn's gaze traveled to her stomach, " Baby wants something salty. "
" Masusunod po, mga boss, " he answered, before walking towards the refrigerator to see what Lea had there.
Dawn, on the other hand, poked Lea, who was now leaning her head on the counter. " Lei... "
" Hmmm... "
" Do you have work today? "
Lea's head was still leaning on the counter. She grunted, before lifting her head up. " Don't remind me, D. I have rehearsals at 6 pm. "
" Samahan mo ko, please. "
" Saan? " she answered, her voice muffled because she went back to leaning on the counter, covering her face with both her hands.
Dawn took her time answering, knowing that Lea was not going to realize that she was just thinking of an excuse. " Shopping with Ayisha, " she finally answered, thinking that it was the easiest activity for the three of them.
" Why can't Gomz go with you? "
" You know how men are when it comes to shopping... and also, we had a deal. Monday is his day-off from me, and I think he has plans with Aga today. "
Lea sat up straight when she heard that. " Where will they go? "
" I'm not sure, mare. You can ask him later. "
Lea grunted. " Why can't Reg do it? "
" She has plans with Ogie. "
" Vice? "
" Showtime. "
" Dawny naman, eh. "
" Please? Ayisha really wants to buy new clothes for the holidays, and everybody knows that girl took after me. It would take her hours to finish getting everything she wants. "
