Aga hasn't even made it to his room when he heard his phone rang. Knowing he was about to get screamed at, he answered it dejectedly.

" Richard, kakauwi ko lang. Pwedeng magpatulog ka muna? " He told his friend, whom he was sure was only calling to let him know that he was a jerk.

" Isang buong araw na siyang umiiyak, Aga. " his friend whispered. He heard Dawn's soothing voice in the background, but Lea's sobs were the ones that pierced his heart.

At that moment, Aga knew that this couldn't wait until tomorrow.

" I'm coming over, Gomz. Can you keep her awake for me? "

" Reg is seething mad, pare. " Richard warned. " Dawn's not mad, but she's not too happy with you either. "

" I'll bring food. "

There were a series of whispers in the background on Richard's side, which he guessed were requests. He knew how to get back to Dawn and Regine's good side.

" Cookies and Cream and Coffee Crumble for the ladies, and three boxes of pizza. "

" Anything else? "

Richard's voice was replaced by a high-pitched, shrill voice. " And a good explanation, Muhlach. I'm waiting. "

He quickly changed his clothes, then immediately stumbled out of the house. He really wanted to see Lea and fix everything between them, but he also didn't like to keep Regine Velasquez-Alcasid waiting. She may be one of Aga's closest friends, but when it comes to Lea, she is protective as hell.

The drive to Lea's house took him just half the usual time. He may have passed by some red lights, but he was lucky enough not to get caught. He knew, however, that he will not be able to escape Reg's probing.

He wasn't at all surprised when he found her sitting on Lea's porch, waiting for him.

" Himala, ang bilis mo? " she questioned. " Asan na ice cream ko? " Regine walked towards him, trying to get a peek at the food he brought. He showed her the paper bags, which earned him a small smile. " Pasok ko muna 'to. "

" Hindi ako sasama? "

" No, you stay there. Mag-uusap pa tayo. "

" But I want to see Lea. "

She turned her back on him, then said, " Then you should have done that last night. "

He watched as Regine walked towards the house, carrying all the paper bags. He wanted to disobey her and barge inside, just to stop Lea from crying. His heart couldn't take it anymore. He ached for her.

Regine was only gone for a few minutes, but he felt like he waited for an eternity. When she went back outside, she was holding a slice of pizza and a can of beer.

" Tara sa likod? "

He was confused. " Huh? Bakit sa likod? "

" Para hindi ka makita ni Lea. "

" Does she not want to see me anymore? "

Regine held out the beer can. " No. " He was about to say something when she continued, " I don't. "

" Regine naman... "
